Excellent fit, quality and held up top heavy snow
These pants a really well built and deliver on the specifications they list. My old pants died after a lot of years and it's really difficult to find pants in stock at stores these days. I appreciate buying through REI because they carry quality stuff and stand behind their products. The fit on these bibs was exactly as described, they fit great. I love the pockets and the access to the zippers. Everything is high quality. I've already skied on them for 3 snowy days. The first day was well below freezing, and snowing hard and I was fine, they were completely dry inside and blocked the wind really well. I love the freedom of movement in them, they're not baggy but definitely give you room to move around. The 2nd and 3rd days were snowing hard and again, completely dry. They don't have much insulation but that's what I wanted, and I was never cold. If it was really cold a slightly thicker base layer would be all I needed. Other things: The shoulder straps are wide and comfortable, once I adjusted them I never noticed them, they didn't slip off my shoulders or anything annoying. The bib pocket is super handy. The inner cuff at the ankle fit well over my boots and the pants do not drag or hit the ground even in street shoes. Overal, I'm very happy with this purchase, the price wasn't terrible, I think I will easily get four or five seasons out of these pants if not more.
