Nice quality, runs large
Jacket seems well made from good materials, feels like quality. I have no doubt it would be a great jacket. My problem is with the sizing. I fit the body measurements on Obermeyer's sizing chart perfectly for their size medium, but when I put the jacket on it is way too big. The arms are 2" too long, the back of the coat hangs all the way to my crotch, and when I pull the front together to zip it up there is a good 3/4" overlap. Size down when ordering.
Does Size Really Matter
Without having worn it for skiing yet, this jacket seems great. I can echo other reviews on this site and others, jacket runs large. I am 6’2” 220 lbs. I was recently measured my a tailor for a suit jacket and my measurements place me as a size XL, which depending on brand I usually am on edge of L or XL. I saw this jacket and tried it on despite it being a M as it looked BIG. To my surprise it was a perfect fit.
