Laces are too thin and weak.
I got these in June and now it's November. I wear them for an hour a day while walking and jogging and they look great and are super comfortable except maybe a little warm in the summer. The laces are too thin though and the orange one on the top is just about to break in the center near the toe even though the rest of the shoe is still like brand new. Not good.
Very comfortable hikers
I've been really impressed with these hiking shoes. They fit well and have a bit more volume than I expected, which actually works out great—I can wear thicker socks for extra comfort. The construction feels solid, and the sole provides excellent grip on different terrains. One feature that stood out to me is the dual lacing system—something I haven’t seen before, but it works really well. So far, I’ve taken them on several day hikes and long walks, and they’ve been fantastic. Looking forward to putting in many more miles with them!
Awesome on Daily Hikes
The AKU Rocket GTX shoes offer great fit, support and traction. These are my daily drivers on my morning hike in rocky trails in Utah!

My new favorite walking shoes. Sensitive toes are accommodated by increased toebox height. Grippy Vibram soles with no tight crevices to track rocks into the house and scratch the floors. The best feature is the dual lacing system which makes it easy to adjust the fit, and easy to release to slip them on and off. A well-designed pair of shoes.
Comfortable hikers
I recently bought these because I have a pair of a different AKU model that I love. These are comfortable on rocky terrain and stable on the downhills.
