Salomon Nailed It
I really like the fit and contour of these bibs. I was looking for a burly 3L pant that is roomy enough for proper cold weather layering. (I ski at Whitefish, MT. often, so.....). These check that box nicely without being too baggy. For reference, I'm 6'-3'', 210 lbs., 35" waist, 34" inseam in most pants. Purchased size Large. Lengthwise, these ride just right with my ski boots on. (Even though the size chart says 32.9 inseam). The 3 layer "AdvancedSkin Dry+" fabric is bomber, weatherproof and resembles 3L Gore Tex. The upper bib section is very stretchy with a 16" zipper fly. Nice quality 1.5" wide suspenders contribute to comfort also. All in all, a sturdy, well-built ski bib with clean lines. >>>>Jeff
Disappointment
If you are 5ft 7” or shorter and average build these pants are NOT for you. I tried the medium first and it did not have enough adjustment in the velcro straps to keep the pants up. Then I ordered the small just to end up with the same problem and oddly both fit the waist the exact same . My waist size is 30. Also I under stand the baggy pant thing for full range of motion but these are huge in both small and medium size they fit like ballon pants . Was really looking forward to these bibs.
Poor quality, ripped under tension. 2 weeks use!
Really disappointed with these. Second pair of Salomon bibs that have failed me; the material ripped during a high arced turn. Seems these really aren’t made for advanced skiers, the material doesn’t hold up in the way an advanced skier would need their clothing to be able to move; especially bad considering the price point. What’s more, the warranty claim was denied. Really dissatisfied after being a Salomon loyalist for a long long time.
