You get you pay for. I'm an old fan of the old Clark desert boots, but alas they are no longer to be found (by me anyway). Enter Birkenstock Uppsalas. Roomy toe box and decent arch. The footbfed is traditional flat with the aforementioned arch. I may have to replace it with a one later. Time will tell. I'm a solid 12+ size so EU 45 is a spot. Bottomline, I like them and tho, a little pricy, they are high recommended.
