Light weight and sturdy

I got the women's fineline stretch shell for my backpacking trip in the torngats Mountains. It wasen't heavy or hold too much space in my backpack. It kept me dry for the week. As a plus, I really love the color choices!

Perfect for high winds and rain!

I purchased this waterproof jacket for a trip to wet and rainy Scotland & it absolutely delivered! The jacket & pants were put to the ultimate test on the Isle of Skye. I had one day in that location for hikes and sites & it happened to have intense wind and showers. I was still able to fully enjoy it all because of the waterproof jacket and pants. The hood’s ability to tighten in the back was incredible & stayed in place, when others were getting whipped off. I was able to keep dry underneath and keep going the whole day. I felt like the sizing was perfect too. I ordered the small and am 5’5”, 130lbs. I was able to do a baselayer and a mid-weight long sleeve underneath with plenty of comfort. Would highly recommend!

Noisy and not styled 4 diverse female shapes

Can't comment on how waterproof this is as I rejected it and am returning. This is a NOISY NOISY jacket. I would be worried someone or something was sneaking up on me 'cause I'd never hear them over the crinkling of this jacket. Sizing is pure hourglass with stereotypical "ideal woman" shaping. If your short or short waisted you end up with it being too tight on your butt if you don't wear the tiny size short people are expected to wear

Stay dry!

Love this raincoat. Took it to Scotland where it was extremely windy and rainy and I stayed warm and dry! Also super breathable and light. Easily packed and doesn’t feel heavy, so activities are still comfortable! Truly the best definitely recommend. Got a large so I could fit layers under it, perfectly oversized! Would love some of the rain pants to match I’d be set for any weather!

Hood is huge

I really want to like this rain jacket. It's light weight, soft enough, and constructed well that should keep rain out. But the hood is too big for me! It says the hood is helmet-compatible, and it's really oversized! I can pull the back string to narrow the hood side to side but cannot shorten the hood vertically. I end up with a big gap around my chin. It feels rough when the front zipper touches my chin -- the front zipper is stiff around the chin. Because of the hood, I had to return the jacket -- too bad that it doesn't work for me!

Not just for climbing.

“I know this jacket was designed for climbing, but I bought it for golf, and I’m so glad I did! The stretch fabric makes it much more comfortable to swing in than a traditional rain jacket. It’s lightweight, packable, and fits perfectly in my golf bag. The pit zips are a great touch, they help keep you cool when the temperature rises while still keeping you dry. I love all the color options! I also bought the men’s version for my spouse, and now his entire foursome has one too

Great Jacket

I've only worn this a few times so far, mostly to block the wind, and it's been great. The fit is true to size and well-tailored. I am 5'5" 135 pounds and the medium works great with layers like a light puffy jacket underneath. I have yet to try it in the rain. I was out shoveling snow and doing trail work in it and it seems to breathe very well. I love the color.

Nice Jacket, but. . .

It seems like a nice jacket, but the fit around my neck is very large. It doesn't seem to be sized that way to fit a climbing helmet or ski helmet. The under-chin area when zipped up sticks out far enough that I am concerned it would catch water, if/when it rains. I really like all the other aspects of this jacket, but that was enough of a deal breaker for me.

“Winds” Proof

I took this rain jacket with me to hike Skurka’s Wind River High Route and was so impressed. The jacket kept me dry and warm in a crazy thunderstorm. Next up, South Island of NZ! I’ll report back.

Great Jacket

I am really pleased with how light this jacket is, and how well it protected me, on a visit to Ireland. It packs up very small, and fits true to size. A great jacket for the $$.
