Chaco flips aren't what they used to be
Although Chaco classic flips still look about the same as they did before Wolverine bought the brand, it definitely is not the same sturdy flip that you could actually walk on uneven ground on for a distance. They no longer have the Vibram sole, and the footbed is noticeably thinner. I just bought these flips to replace a pair of Chacos I had for about 15 years because the old ones are finally biting the dust. I don't expect these new ones to hold up for more than a season or two at the most. Chaco used to be my favorite brand of hiking sandal. They were rugged, tough, comfortable and lasted for years. Sadly the brand has been cheapened, and unfortunately, the price point does not reflect that
Flip-flops run small compared to other Chaco
Nice flip-flop, but they are significantly smaller than other Chacos. Chacos have been my go-to sandals for 15+ years, and I have several pairs, all the same size. These are ~1/2" shorter in length than the other Chaco flip-flops I have. Comfy, and I love the color, but I'll probably need to return them due to the difference in sizing. :(
