light weight, versatile rain pants for BC skiing.

Essential side zip, tear away style lets you don and ditch the layer while wearing skis, boots or standing in puddles. Highly waterproof, mildly breathable. Stows unnoticeably in my pack stuffed i side its own pocket. the ultra lightweight nature of the fabric seems less durable, but time will truly tell. The bit of stretch is enhanced by the technical cut making mobility excellent. The cinchable drawstring waistband has limited sizeability range. Over bulky knee pads, I use suspenders to keep XL up on my L-sized frame. I have enjoyed wearing them spring telemark skiing.

perfect fit, weight, packability

I'm 5'10", 160. S size fits perfect. They are light weight, comfortable, pack into a very compact form. These are exactly what I was looking for. No extended use feedback yet. But I am very happy to add these to my hiking/backpacking/camping kit.

Rain Pants

Excellent quality. Light and thin as a windbreaker would be. Wear comfortably all day everyday as an outer shell and you wouldnt feel like you had rain gear on. Packs away nice and small. Waist band design is keen. holds tight at the base of the back with bungee and a flat seamless front. pants open at the sides with full zip top to bottom. secured at hips and ankles with a small tough snap. once on , you can stretch the waist to pull them down without opening the legs each time. True to size. they fit "sporty" rather than bulky.

Excellent rain gear

I work outside 10-12 hours a day. I finally got tired of suffering through the rain and bought these. Most rain gear I’ve tried makes you sweat so much it’s pointless to wear it. Not a problem with these pants. Easy on and off with full length leg zips, which also means easy venting to prevent trapped body heat from making you sweat. Fabric is sturdy and durable, minor scrapes that would rip gashes in normal rain gear don’t phase these pants. Overall best purchase I made in 2025 to make life easier on the daily grind.

Quite Possibly the Perfect Rainpant

I can't give the full 5, only because I haven't beat on them enough to assess the durability, but. . . These are obviously a very well thought out design. Relaxed cut, but not frumpy, with enough stretch to accommodate any activity. For me, full length zips are a non-negotiable on a rain pant, check, plus 2-way operation for venting and pocket access. A generous seat pocket for incidentals, fits a smartphone no problem, and cinches at the waist and hems. If I could change anything, It might be to replace the zipper cover snaps with hook-and-loop. While secure, they are a bit stiff and seem to really torque the fabric before releasing. Add a little trail grit and cold fingers, and you get the picture. Feels good to finally check that rainpant box on my kit list.

Lightweight but not durable

The fit is quite slim, which makes it difficult to layer over other pants. The zippers can be finicky to use. They soaked through the first time they were worn in steady rain, and the fabric doesn’t feel very durable. I sliced them with a crampon after a light brush.

Awesome pants

Great features, very waterproof, and super durable. Only complaint is length, returned this pair and opted for a women’s xl for the shorter inseam. Adding different inseam lengths to the size ranges would be awesome.

Nice rain pants

I like the full length zipper and their packability. I haven’t used a rain jacket made out of the same material and it keeps me dry. I expect these will work just as well.

Perfect foil against "wintery mix"

Packs away to nothing, easily added on when the weather changes. Effective protection in snow/rain transitions during work or play in the mountains.

Waterproof and light

I found excellent the relation between weight and water resistant, and easy to put on and off with the full zipper. I'm happy with this pants
