I’ve been searching for a travel/whenever it’s needed backpack and stumbled across this one. I was very nervous about receiving a surprise me bag, being as though I’m extremely picky. but it was everything I could’ve hoped for. The colors are so funky, and I love all the different department that are available making it so helpful to keep things separated and organized. I love all the extra attachments that allow you to hook things on to the bag if needed. I did do a quick test to see what it would hold. so I put in a pair a sneakers, jeans, Jean jacket, shirt, pj’s slippers, flat irons, make up bag ,lab top accessories, brush. and still had room. Can’t wait to really put it to use!! Don’t think about it just get it you won’t regret it

Roomy personal item that fits under a plane seat

I took it on a recent cruise trip and was pleased to discover that it fits underneath the seat on a plane, and it holds a lot. I even shoved my purse inside the main pocket so as to only have one personal item on the plane. It was sturdy enough for me to use it as a foot rest on the plane. The mesh water bottle pockets fit plastic bottles fine as long as I push the side walls of the bag inwards. The multiple pockets helped to organize my travel documents, clothes, and other stuff. Even though the straps aren’t thick, they are slightly padded and wide enough which meant that when my bag was fully loaded it didn’t dig into my shoulders, and I especially appreciated the chest strap to keep the bag securely on my shoulders when I was schlepping around carrying stuff with both arms full. When I got to my destination, it was a great day pack during shore excursions and easily rolled up for storage.

My husband and I work remotely and travel frequently, so I needed a carry-on sized bag that can hold everything from computers to hiking gear. This bag fits the ticket, and it's adorable to boot! The big pockets and minimalist structure make the bag spacious and flexible for whatever I need. I was worried about the 'surprise me' feature but I love the colors! 1000% recommend

My new favorite backpack. I use it to the climbing gym, longer hikes, traveling, camping, basically everywhere. I love the colors and that it has a separated laptop sleeve. I like the two water bottle holders and it's very comfortable to carry even if it's heavy.

I really love my other Cotopaxi products so when I decided to consider a new backpack, I checked them out. I found the coolest option - let the actual designers pick the colors and “surprise me”! Well I just LOVE what I got and now, putting this pack on makes me smile every time! Lots of pockets, support for all my stuff, and super lightweight. Thanks Cotopaxi!

First Hiking Backpack!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was going on my first solo hiking trip over spring break so I needed to get a bunch of stuff to make sure I had everything I needed so I would be good to go when hiking. Not only did my bag fit everything I needed for my 8 hour hike, including an extra pair of shoes and clothing and all my safety gear but it was made sustainably too! When I placed my order I told all my friends about how excited I was that I had found a brand that recycles fabrics into their products and now I have several friends who have bought their bags for our summer trip from Cotopaxi as well. I love my bag and I’m sure it’s going to last me a long time!

The colors are awesome! I usually wear all black so this is a nice pivot. This bag has so many pockets and places to put things. The bag is also extremely well made and very comfortable on my back. Would recommend!

I commute by bicycle a majority of the week, so I was looking for something very lightweight but durable, stylish but unique, and above all, big enough to hold a change of clothes and a packed lunch, and still feel lightweight and comfortable. This checks all those boxes. I’m glad I didn’t go with a smaller size, but there’s more than enough room in this one. Personally, I could use an extra pouch or pocket, but that’s only because I carry a bunch of stuff….bike lights, bike gloves, head warmer, keys, walllet, charger and earbuds…. But I knew what I was getting and it works just fine. I loved it so much I bought an Alpa 42L a couple weeks later.

First of all I want to take this opportunity to thank Cotopaxi to bring color to my life. I am a person who always wear dark and grayscale clothes. Once I saw Batac backpack on my friend’s shoulder, I fell in love with it and immediately purchased one. The backpack is what it should be, beautiful, comfortable and unique! It’s been a week that I use it every day and every where. The only colorful part of my life is my backpack. Hopefully I can add more color to other parts of my collection. 🤞
