Cotopaxi  Calidez Down Parka - Men's

This is an understated coat that doesn't add too much bulk, but is adequtely insulated for weather that is truly rough windy, wet or bitterly cold. I wanted something that I could wear over my business casual outfits to work but still be water resistant/proof and keep me warm while shoveling snow. This coat fits the bill. It is nice how it is constructed because usually with these types of coats if the zipper is not that good then it ruins the whole coat, but the zipper is good and also the way the zipper and the flaps around it are constructed are high quality so the zipper doesn't get stuck in material around it. Also, it had a down feather odor when I first wore it, but after I've worn it like a week, now it just smells like me (decent, not off-putting). I am muscular and overweight, big shoulders and big arms and a bit of a gut. 6'3" and I usually get an XL tall when available, the XXL fits me great, not fitted, but not overly boxy or big. The arms are just right. I wear a 37" sleeve on dress shirts.

Happy with the coat overall, but have two minor complaints about the sizing and fleece-lined chin guard. I'm 5"10 and weigh 200lbs. I'm normally a size Large, but the L in this coat feels more like an XL. The Medium was too small for me but the Large just feels a little too bulky. Second, I have a beard, and I don't love the way the the fleece-lined chin guard feels rubbing against it. I'm guessing it would feel even worse rubbing against a 5 o'clock shadow. This is one of those features that sounds good on paper but not in practice. Otherwise, I'm pleased with the warmth and overall look of the coat.

Get one size smaller for a perfect fit. A bit on the bulky side, but keeps me very warm. Looks sleek and the zippers are quality with good grippy feel.

I'm on a volunteer committee that works outside a lot. The committee colors are blue so I bought this online for cold day work shifts. I haven't used it yet but it looks and feels solid. I normally wear XL Cotopaxi so I got a 2XL for layering. It came in way too big so I ordered an XL. The XL fits perfect even considering layering. I returned the 2XL and it was one of the easiest return procedures I have ever dealt with.

This jacket is very well-built. Minimal yet elegant looking. I wanted something that is warm and waterproof for my husband. We looked at a few different brands but either the fit isn’t as snug or the design is too bulky. This jacket was just right - good looking and functional, very weather proof for NY winter. It does run a little big. My husband is typically a medium but the small here fits him just right.

Needed something for winter morning dog walks in Wisconsin and does the job. Size runs big. Originally ordered a Medium and had to exchange for a Small. Color is not accurate. Color looks more "golden" on website, however in person is more "olive/army" green. Favorite features are heavy duty metal dual-zipper, removable hood, exterior/interior chest pockets and soft interior cuffs. Would recommend.

Really pleased with this one. Feels lighter than a bulkier Eddie Bauer coat I had but provided same or better warmth. The hood is pretty warm too, hardly need a hat under it. Good fit for medium. 6’ 170lb. The cuff on the sleeves provides a nice seal from cold weather. The length is great, as it isn’t super long but covers butt which is important in freezing/sub zero temps. Really happy with it.

Jumped on the opportunity to purchase this jacket (always out-of-stock) even though it is one size too big. I'm not swimming in it, which is good and I'm on the shorter side so the two-way heavy duty zipper is the key feature for me. I need this feature whenever purchasing a longer jacket otherwise the zipper pulls off the track when bending down or getting into the car.
