How to Choose a Sports Bra

The most compressive fabric from prAna was remastered with recycled nylon, making the Chakara crop top as sustainable as it is supportive. It wears tank-style or racerback, and has a built-in bra.

I typically love PrAna bras, but this one is a miss. The fabric is a total miss: it feels thin, a bit rough and lacks enough stretch to feel comfortable. The crop top length is awkward and constantly rolled up on my midsection which was incredibly annoying. The band was significantly tighter than my other size M prAna bras. I couldn't wait to take this top off after trying on for just a few minutes. I definitely wouldn't find it comfortable for any type of physical activity. I have many other prAna bras that I love, and was excited about this one for the adjustable straps and the ability to clip into racer back. But, unfortunately the comfort and quality just aren't there.
I was so excited about this top but when I put it on, the front showed all these irregularities from the sewn-in bra. There are two bumps in the middle are really obvious, then the same thing happens at the top left and top right where the bra attaches to the shirt.
I was hoping this would work out, but unfortunately, it’s cut low under the arms so it’s a bit revealing. Even with the straps all the way on tight it’s still didn’t fit correctly. I love prana and unfortunately this piece didn’t work out will be returning. Might be good for very small breasted. I am 5’5” and 137 pounds 36D
itchy stitching in back. i like how it can convert into a x or regular style top in the back. i’d like to be able to hide the connector plastic thing when it’s not hooked together.
My size is 36B and bought size M. It’s perfect but I may need to saw the front strings as it seems bit low. The pattern is beautiful and cropped top.
This did not fit. Very tight around the bottom band
I went ahead and bought two more after my first purchase! The only way it would only be better is if the pads were sewn in, IMO. I like that they are there, but I don't like that they slide around. I bought an XS and I'm a 32a. Just long enough.....I like it with the railay pants, and jeans, and sweats, and shorts, and the cozy up skirt, layered with a flannel overtop....can't go wrong!
I purchased the wilderness color and it is beautiful in person. Love that the straps are adjustable. I often find with lower cut bras/tops I feel like I am going to slip out while practicing yoga; this stayed in place while not feeling overly constricting. Great for yoga, hiking, and casual wear. I’m 5’10”, 180lbs, 36-38C and the large fit perfect. Tried the XL and it was too large.
Cove is a beautiful sea green foam colour. Straps run long, so if you have a smaller bust the straps may be loose at the maximum setting. The ability to make it a racer back using the clip, makes it secure when your work out picks up pace. Personally, I have no issues with lumps compared to similar tops by other brands.
I love the length of the top and that it makes my boobs look great while feeling fairly secure. if I had larger breasts I might be more concerned. One downside is that when you hook the 2 straps together my hair CONSTANTLY gets caught on the little hook. So annoying!
