SHORT: Pants are available in short sizes. These have an inseam of 30 inches.

Water resistant and durable

Weighs ~650 grams. The baffles vary from 1-2" thick, so has good amount of puffiness. Warmer then summer down backpacking coats. The cordura fabric on hood and shoulders does add durability. I took a stick in the arm a few times in camp. Pretty sure thin nylon wouldve ripped. The hood and shoulders have added insulation and with the hood done up you can feel the warmth on the back of your neck. The added fabric means It doesnt pack up as small as a normal puffy and is a bit heavier. But adds a lot of waterproofing and durability quailities. For the price id probably get something simpiler that packs better, unless you want a synthetic mix down coat specifically then this is a nice option. Seems more for wearing around town then winter backpacking.
