The North Face Recon Luxe Backpack has been perfect for my daughter in middle school, offering a great mix of style, durability, and functionality. Its high-quality materials easily handle daily wear and tear, while the padded straps and breathable back panel provide excellent comfort for heavy loads. With multiple compartments, including a laptop sleeve, front organizer, and spacious main section, it keeps her books, tablet, and supplies well-organized. The Luxe design adds a stylish touch that she loves, and its 30-liter capacity is just the right size for school without being bulky. Overall, it's a reliable, comfortable, and practical choice for middle school students.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to have a different brand backpack that I used all throughout high school but it could not fit my lunch, work clothes, and laptop. This one can fit all of that on top of my schoolwork and supplies, without looking bulky. I am very satisfied with my purchase!
This backpack is truly a luxe backpack when it comes to style, design and functionality! We always purchase a Northface backpack for our daughter for back to school each year, but this one exceeded expectations by a long shot!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such a great quality. Perfect size. I reall Love it. It was time to change my old north face backpack that lasted me more than 6 years. This is a great investment if you want something that lasts for a long time.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very sturdy multitasking backpack, I like that I can put my notebooks and labtop in different compartments. The colors are bold and vibrant.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great back support and fashionable design for a high school girl. We upgraded to Recon from her Jester, hoping that Recon will hold more stuff than Jester as she has a few thick textbooks, a laptop, a lunchbox etc for her school. It is supposed to be much bigger than Jester, but the design is not the greatest. We need to push her lunchbox into the bottom as the top part was sticking out due to the front pocket and it's difficult to put in and take things out from the main compartment. I wish the main compartment is more flexible like Adidas Prime backpack.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this because according to the North Face website it has more storage space than my Borealis (30L vs. 28L) and I really don't like the bungee cords on the Borealis. So I really thought the Recon would be roomier. I was so wrong! Even without the bungee cords squishing the bag and alleged 2 additional liters of space, I can't fit everything in this that I can in the Borealis. So disappointed as this bag looks gorgeous with the rose gold accents but it just is so cramped! Anyway, it's going back, and back to my Borealis I guess. Ugh!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would only recommend this bag if you don't carry a lot of items. I was previously using my adidas backpack and it was very spacious. All of items I could easily fit in my other backpack will not fit in this backpack. I will have to return and possibly search for a different backpack. This bag would be used for work. I have to carry my laptop, a few documents in an accordion folder, 2 notebooks (1 subject), personal items. This bag could not hold everything unfortunately.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing booksack beautiful great structure only giving it four stars because it doesn't have a ton of space. The second pocket feels like I should be able to put a folder in it but it stops I can really only fit ink pens. I did previously have the surge booksack, which did feature 2 large compartments. Great bag, my laptop will never break inside of here. I would buy it again, but you may not want to carry all your books at once in this book sack.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall love the backpack and its sturdiness, and the rose gold accents! I wish the outermost/smallest zipper pocket did not get super tight as quick as it does when using all the pockets, because it makes it very tight for the main pocket area. Otherwise, I appreciate the ergonomic design and how weightless my heavy belongings can feel. I also love the laptop pocket and the protection from hitting the floor when setting the bag down.
