North Face rolling duffels - beware!

Buyer beware. This looks to be the same as the version I bought in 2022. It did not hold up. Bottom split, and I needed to duct tape it to keep it together.

Can Take A Beating, And HAS!

When evaluating this rolling duffel before buying, I was a little concerned about it's ability to take airline baggage handling abuse. I shouldn't have been concerned. On my recent vacation, my favorite airline must have gotten my North Face stuck on a conveyor belt; because it arrived in Vermont looking like the top surface had been "sanded", all scuffed and dirty. But you know what? It held up; and when I scrubbed it with Windex and a towel, it looks almost new again. The inner space is cavernous, the wheels are tough and the extend handle is heavy duty. All in all definitely worth the money. This baby is rugged!

Wheels sucked!

Red plastic “tires” on wheels crumbled on third trip.

Fabric needs to be more reinforce.

The fabric is not very tough when it comes to checking it in with the airlines. First trip I took got it from baggage claim and already have a hole.

Great bag, and it really stands out in the que.

Amazing room! It's a very strong bag and wheels easily while loaded and traveling. I've used it on several trips. It will scuff as it's a soft sided bag, but I've never had any issues with failure or damage other than an occasional scuff. It really stands out on the airport conveyor too!

So far so great, after a long trip to Nepal

I bought this bag on sale to double as dive gear luggage and needed something big enough to fit our fins (which are longer than average) but not so big it has unused space. This bag fit the bill. As soon as I bought it, my daughter needed it for a trip to Nepal. After multiple connections in Europe, several buses, and wheeling all over Nepal, it came back without a scratch. TNF holds up.

Do not buy TNF does not stand behind product.

Bags internal frame broke after a few trips. Contacted TNF and they basically said too bad so sad. Bag does not stand up to any type of commercial travel. I would NOT recommend to my worst enemy.
