Finally... A jacket that does what it says its going to do - so happy I purchased this. Excellent rain protection I experienced over 2 hours in medium rain on walk. No wet out, no leakage - water just ran off and kept me dry the whole time. Highly recommend this jacket for sure !
I've had 3 of these - all returned after the first use. The quality control is terrible and they all had signs of delamination after just one use in the rain. Will be buying a different brand.
I've had several 3L Foray Rain Jackets, and they've all performed perfectly. Always true to size, with a stretchy athletic fit. I was bit bummed to learn that the Foray is being longer constructed with Gore-Tex waterproofing. Still, a solid jacket made by a fantastic manufacturer with an unbeatable "infinite" guarantee.
Really bad quality, all my pocket broken in one year.
The jacket was great for the environment I was working in overseas. I can slide it in a pack and then pull it out during light to heavy rain storms and be completely dry. The hood will accommodate a tac helmet. Great jacket
Great jacket! I walk my dog 2-3 hrs a day in all kinds of weather. This jacket keeps me warm (with layers underneath) and dry. I buy men's jackets because I hate the fit of most women's jackets which are too constricting.
The jacket is nice looking but the hood is not useful if there is a breeze over 10-15 mph. There isn't a hood draw string lock and a breeze in your face bellows the hood, draw string slips to wide open and the hood flips if off your head. You have to hold it on with one hand. Not worth it for head protection.
The Foray 3L is a great addition to my outdoor gear. The fit is roomy enough for an additional layer underneath but looks good either way. I love the pit zips that extend all the way to waistline. I haven’t tested the Foray 3L in a downpour but it looks and fits great. For those wondering, yes it is a little roomier in the midsection than others I have had in the past.
I’ve used this several times as a top layer on cold rainy days as well as a top waterproof layer on cold and wet walks. While it doesn’t provide much warmth itself I bought it a size up (XL) so that u could properly layer beneath it. Layering with this jacket is assisted by the zippers on the sides which go all the way up to the armpit, therefore if you get to hot you can easily dump heat and regulate temps. What I found during my runs is that I moves well with the body, I did not have any complaints about restriction I felt I could run and even sprint without worry.
While the sleeves are a good length, the torso of the 1XL, I ordered, was too snug. 1XL works in 90% of the garments I've ordered. No data on it's rain protection, as I'll likely exchange it.
