Nice Day Pack Cover
I was worried that the cover would be too small, but it fits well over my small/medium-sized travel daypack. The yellow color stands out when walking on a rainy day.
Sizing and fit issues for daypacks
Ordered an extra small for a CamelBak day pack to cover on all day hiking trips. Even the extra small is too large to fit properly. This pack cover has a boxy fit and doesn't cover or fit as closely as my previous REI brand cover. I'm afraid that a lot of movement or brushing against things would cause it to shift and maybe not stay on the full pack.
Georgia, I'm not sure which model of Camelbak daypack you have, so I can't fully comment on fit compatibility with our XS Duck's Back raincover. However, I can share that the XS Duck's Back is intended to fit daypacks in the 18-30 Liter volume range, and the dimensions of the XS DB raincover are 18.5 x 12.5 x 9.5". This size and fit info is listed on the Duck's Back product page on REI.com.
Does the job
Folds up very well. East to fit over the REI 18L bag. I put it on every day for a 35 day hike even when it wasn't raining to help hold everything into the bag (and because I had attached some sandals to the side of the bag, so the rain cover stopped them from swinging around). Did the job.
