Bought these pants for daily wear in the PNW (walking the dog, errands, etc.) plus winter hikes where I didn't want to wear heftier snow gear. The brushed lining feels nice and warm, including in the pockets. The pants seem decently water-resistant (even without the addition of Fjallraven's Greenland Wax). The fit is fairly slim, so not a ton of room for layering. I am able to put on thin pants, leggings, or base layers beneath if I really want to up the warmth, but have yet to find this necessary for weather above 20 degrees. Very happy with the look, feel, and quality of these pants. Great transitional and generally cold weather pants to get you through the daily grind.
Great pants for those cold days when you are going in out to walk the dog. I purchased a second pair so that I don't wear the first pair out. Though, I suspect it will take a while before they get worn out as they seem pretty well made.
I really like these Fjallraven pants so much so that I've ordered a second pair. I haven't had them for very long, my primary use so far has been while walking my dog. The soft lining helps dampen that cold chill as it hits my legs. For me they have been comfortable down to about 20°. Below 20° I've noticed a base layer his needed if I'm not moving around much.
For reference, I have at least half a dozen pairs of Fjallraven pants from years ago, and mostly love them. These are cut like tights, not pants. In a size that doesn't hug my legs too much, these were 2" too wide in the waist.
A very comfortable pants for colder days, I however expected something warmer, for deep winter, a base layer is needed. The fit is trim, love it. Very versatile pant, good for outdoors as well as chilly morning in the open space. For the sizing, I own an old Keb in 32 and it's rather baggy, this one in 32 also fits me better for 187cm and 75kg. No overkill feature, a simple and robust pant.
These are great pants! Just the right amount of lining for me in Chicago winter when it's cold out - keep in mind I generally run warm, but this helps me avoid wearing leggings/long underwear on the real cool days. Zippers are well designed and I like the phone pocket on the right leg. Sizing, for me, seems about right. No complaints whatsoever!
Love the pants as usual, excited to wear them this fall/winter. Curious design choice to put a side pocket that goes reverse to how pockets normally do. If I place my phone in the pocket it then is resting on the rear of my thigh which I genuinely do not understand.
All my trousers from Fjallraven has size 52, except for this one, 52 was really to small.
