[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having gone through 2 pairs of the 1080 V13's as my daily trainers, I was excited to see how something I thought was already great become even better. And that was the case with the 1080 V14 thus far. Since receiving the shoes, I have put 50 miles on them, majority coming from 5-7 mile standard runs but also putting them through a 7 mile hill speed workout & a 10 mile long run. I knew for my daily runs these would be great- from my experiences with the V13s. But thinking back and comparing them to the previous V13s, the most notable differences would be the added cushioning where the V14 appears to sit a little taller when I put them next to the V13s, the toe box knitting definitely got an upgrade and the responsiveness with how cushioned they are I feel like these shoes won't get stale as the miles continued to be added. Also with most of my runs primarily on the road the build quality has been solid so far and I am expecting to get 400-500 miles out of this pair where as before I would retire at 330-350. All in all- the V13s were a great pair of trainers that just needed a few tweaks to make them better and I feel with the V14 New Balance addressed those issues and made a great pair even better.

I really like these for walking and for recovery runs. They have that soft, kinda squishy feel, but they also have some firmness to them. The comfort is really really good and the outsole is quite wide so they have a nice stability to them. I have less than 50 miles on mine at the time of this review, but I’m really enjoying them and I’m sure they’ll last a long while.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you’re considering the New Balance 1080v14, you’re in for a treat, especially if you’ve run in the previous 1080v13. The 1080v14 takes everything that was great about the v13 and kicks it up a notch. Right out of the box, these shoes are incredibly comfortable, but they shine through as you wear them in. The 1080v14 toebox compared to some other models is another huge plus. It’s even roomier than before allowing my toes more space to spread out on those hotter longer days. I believe the stack height on the v14 was increased a bit but I did not notice any drop in stability and only an improvement on cushion. The fit was true to size compared to other New Balance models. Overall I was pleasantly surprised with changes from the previous model and think it was definitely worth the upgrade.

After putting about 50 miles on them, I'm really enjoying the experience. The only minor thing is that there seems to be a lot of fabric in the tongue and upper compared to some of the other shoes I wear, which just took a little getting used to but certainly isn't a negative. I highly recommend these for anyone seeking a well-cushioned daily trainer.

Very soft and comfortable but 1 mistake i learned with these sneakers have to get them a size bigger as some may do hard runs or power walks or even just your regular everyday basis for feet do swell up a bit so by having that extra size will compensate your feet and not put pressure on your swollen feet on tight sneakers....overall great kicks for the price and your knees especially them knees...!!!

I've logged a few shorter runs and a 10 miler and it performed well! I can't say that this shoe is for hitting top speeds, but I love the responsiveness and bounce that it has for the mileage I've put on it so far. Between the well padded upper and max cushion, it's a very comfortable ride!

But that is easily something that I can overlook for the improvement in comfort that I feel with my distance training. I will be using them in my upcoming first marathon!

Awful material. The bottom part desintegrated while washing shoes. Literally it shredded to hundreds of pieces. Shoes were not even 2 months old and are now useless and unusable. Horrible.

Purchased the 1080 v14. The midsole is soft but a bit firmer. This adjustment is perfect for me because the shoe is more stable than the V12 I had previously purchased which gave me heel issues. The upper is nice and soft with more room for the toes to splay. The design is nice and worthy to wear outside of running as an everyday walk about shoe or as an everyday shoe for someone like myself who is on their feet for most of the day. Lock down is great, breathable, and just has the feel of comfort overall. Thank you new balance. I’ve had difficulty finding the right shoe since having toe surgery on my left big toe. This shoe is amazing.
