Better than other similar options

I've tried a few different portable cuffs, both arm and wrist, and this one has consistently matched the reporting I see at the doctors office. I appreciate the easy to adjust cuff, though it took me a little while to figure out a technique to keep the control unit from rotating around my arm while I tighten it. I love that it is easy to stow, and fits into my travel gear nicely. My only gripe is that it really should come with a hard travel/storage case. The cuff is a magnet for dust and hair, so I usually just keep it stored in the box it was delivered in at home. I won't deduct points from the units function for that, and that the instruction booklet didn't include instructions on how to swap the batteries. I shouldn't have to google such a basic function of the device. Again, not deducting points from the review since the device is still great.

I’m loving the easy button

I’m a gadget guy and I love that it syncs seamlessly with my Garmin products. I use an Omron with ekg and I find the readings are on par with both devices. It is very compact and easy to use and to pack for travel.

not accurate at all

see attached screenshots, the numbers are all over the place, throwing a dart at a blood pressure chart would be more accurate

Garmin delivers again!

I have my own BP cuff at home. It’s merely serves the purpose for measuring BO and pulse. My new Garmin BP monitor integrates the information into Garmin connect which is awesome! I used to enjoy the data I’d receive at the HIGI station at the store because it would track your measurements and enable you to send it’ll the information to your PCP. Since the pandemic closed down these stations, I basically stopped paying attention to my BP. Now with this added Garmin Device, I’m able to resume at the convenience of my home. IT’s accuracy seems spot on, as it compares to my other test measurements obtained from other BP devices. Garmin delivers again!

Accurate BPM within Garmin Universe

I lead a healthy lifestyle and rely on biometrics to keep me honest (along with a consultation with an MD every year or so). After decades of boring biometrics, I got a blood pressure reading that was a significant outlier to my baseline so I decided to get the Garmin BPM to help me spot meaningful trends. It is an extremely comfortable and intuitive device to use. You can use a single reading or use the 3x setting, which takes three readings spaced one-minute apart to give you an average of the three. The readings automatically appear on my Fenix 7 and in the Garmin Connect app on my phone. One of the best investments in my health I've made recently.

Great idea if it would work as expected

I would give it a one start. This blood pressure doesn’t communicate well with software. It also send false information on random times of the early morning . It was very difficult to add my fiancé and retrieve his information, when it did it came with false information. I included the BP false information that send to my connect and my fiancés connect. His was send at 1 am and mine at 5 am neither off us took our blood pressure at those times. I love my garmin devices and was really hope that this BPM would work for us . As I’m trying to come up with a whole body health program for my family. It is disappointing not to be able to get the information needed. It sucks the you don’t have a customer service I could talk to . It would be nice to be able to talk to someone that could help with the problem.

Accurate, simple to use

Very simple to set up and use. Took some trial and error to put the monitor my myself with one hand. Blood pressure readings seem consistent with readings from doctor office visits. Best part is having blood pressure stats on Garmin Connect. I would recommend this monitor based on that feature alone. It also folds up to nice, compact size. I just wish Garmin sold a case that fit the monitor and instructions perfectly besides just using the box it was packed in.

Nice Heart Rate Monitor

I recently bought this monitor and have been using it daily for about 2 weeks. It is practical but lacks certain things. For example, the cuff is not soft enough, making it hard to adjust on the arm. People with short arms might also have issues, as the device covers one’s arm totally. Garmin could have also added a storage box or bag for the device. However, in general the device works fine and I like being able to see all my details on Garmin Connect.

Unfortunately, results are consistently 10 mm high

At the hospital I had a nurse check my existing BPM and it was dead on. When I received my Index BPM it consistently read about 10 mm high for sys and 7 mm high for dia compared with my validated BPM. The pulse was accurate. I then reset the new Index unit and tried again to see if there was some problem that a reset would clear. No change still about 10 units high
