Great alternative to the stock strap

Works well, prevents the dreaded sweat buildup that causes your skin to break out. Stretchiness is less than you might expect, but it's fine, probably helps it stay in place. Only complaint is that the long edge can sometimes dig into the skin, especially when that wrist is wresting on a desk, and cause some irritation. Still not near as bad as the stock strap so I'll live with it.

Great for long days on trail

I was hesitant to replace the rubber band that came with my Forerunner 945 since it has been working for years but have often found myself feeling a need for more micro adjustment of the band fit. This band offers that. It feels like it brings new life to my old watch. I've had a lot of 10+ hour days on trails and the swelling of my forearms has made the old rubber band somewhat uncomfortable. The new band has been performing great on long days. I would highly recommend for anyone interested.

Perfect for Enduro 2! And Fenix 7X and others….

This watch band DOES NOT COVER THE SENSOR as another review states. Obviously they did not attach the band properly. It’s a GREAT watch band, holds the watch perfectly, and has a little bit of stretch. Give it a try, you will love it!

Great replacement for my fenix 7 band.

About 4 months in I am still loving this band. it makes the watch feel lighter and it moves less on my wrist. running is when I noticed it holding the watch .or stable. so far it has been durable and my only real question is how long the velcro sure will last. Hopefully it will last a year or more but so far it is still holding like new.

best band i have used with a garmin watch.

I have had this band for about a year. It makes my fenix 7 feel lighter and slide around less on my wrist. it is still in good shape. I will replace this with another when it wears out. I highly recommend this band over the silicone ones. I was worried at first about the durability but so far so good. the only downfall is it takes about 30 to 45 min to completely dry off after a shower or swimming.

Simple, comfortable replacement watchband

Remember when you could choose from dozens of watchbands at your Bartell's store? Remember when you had a Bartell's? For the past few years, finding a watchband anywhere has been nearly impossible unless you wear a $1200 multi-function watch with all the bells and whistles. Finally, REI carries a good, comfortable watch band that will fit a variety of wrist watches and is a snap to install. The price is borderline outrageous but less than buying a new basic watch just to replace a worn-out watchband. Glad you carry this basic item.

Oversized

My wrist is 5.5". This wraps around ridiculously long and is not comfortable underneath. On top of that, it's difficult to believe it would not encumber the sensor for the heart rate/oxygen. It covers it. It's velcro—which likely won't last over time. Should be 1/4 of the price.
