Good Pant

Hey REI, the image you're using is for the "Men's Active Fleece Tight". It seemed to cause some confusion today when I went to exchange for a different size. Anyway, on to the pant. As for fit, I'm 6"1' and wear 34x34 Levi 511's. I have a Large F21 sample of "Men's Active Fleece Wind Pants" that fits very well but the fleece is showing normal wear at the knees and seat. I ordered a large F24 for replacement and the sample in F24 large was cut ~2 inches wider in the leg and 3-4 inches larger in the waist compared to the F21 large, overall less insulating. I exchanged them for a F25 Medium that fits a little closer to my original F21 large sample.

Great for Cold-Weather Runs

Along with the Smartwool Active Fleece Pullover, this set stands up to cold weather extremely well. It will keep you warm even with the temps approaching zero without limiting your range of motion for activities like running. I found these while trying to find men’s leggings for outdoor winter runs, which was a challenge in of itself (most “leggings” for men are just base-layers, apparently). I am happy with my purchase. If you’re a bigger guy like me, order for the waist size because the bottom of the pants do a good job of holding on to the ankles. My only nitpick with these pants is that the drawstring makes me feel like I have to be gentle due to the material used, but it has worked so far without issue!

Great For Cold Weather

Very comfortable and warm. Good for long runs in the cold weather. They do fit a little big though. I’m 5’11 175 and I always wear medium. Had to size down to a small in these.

Great cold weather run tights

I do t review things but I have to say these are amazing! I got them for a turkey trot in my area thinking they would do ok. It ended up being a nice 21 degrees with snow and 30 knot winds. I on the other hand could have been running in Florida for all the cold I felt! I’m never going back to my old cold weather running gear this is now what I will be using
