Solid build and fantastic video quality. Video quality is good enough to create cinematic footages. It also comes with the cons. The biggest one for me is the auto tracking feature. It kept loosing subjects after a few mins and didn’t return to tracking. It’s an important feature for me and I had to return it. Another con is battery is not replaceable, if the battery die, the camera die.
REI sold me a used camera!!!!
REI sold me a used camera and Im so disappointed. On the way home from picking it up I realized that the sticker had been peeled back. When I got home I recorded opening the box for my own security. My hunch was right, it was used. USED!!!! The camera had dust on it, the bag that the camera was in was resealed with a piece of double sided scotch tape, and there were no protective clear plastic protecting the screen or lens. You know the plastic that every single electronic ever made comes with on its screens? I specifically bought the camera through REI instead of Best Buy because of Best Buys reputation of doing this exact thing to people. I called the store and they are making it right. They are ordering me a new one and having it express shipped free of charge. I greatly appreciate the effort to correct this situation but I feel that people need to know so they can better protect themselves from a bad purchase like me. I should have checked the box better before leaving the store. REI I'll change this review to 5 stars as long as everything goes correctly with my replacement.
