The shoes are very lightweight. Took a few days to adjust to the fit. They were a little loose at first but they fit great now. The only issue is the sole isn't all rubber. It only has a small portion that is rubber. And the other part wears pretty quickly. If it was more rubber, I would give them a 5.
I’ve been wearing previous models of the Kinvara to the gym for 5+ years now. However, this new model is already showing a lot wear after 5 workouts. It is especially noticeable in the soles because where starting to break apart.
I’ve had many pairs of Saucony, these are my second Kinvara. What’s awesome about these is that my heel is not wearing through the inner linings. I have a narrow heel and wear out the heel of shoes from the inside to the outer shell. Even though all my Saucony’s fit great and felt great, I still wore them out in this way. Not so with the Kinvara. I go to the gym 6 days a week and wear my shoes every other day. I believe I’ve had my first pair for about a year. They still look and feel fantastic. Obviously, I highly recommend the Kinvara. And whatever you changed, Saucony engineers, great job!
Thanks for your feedback and recommendation!
I was a Kinvara wearer when the original was released and remained one through the first 7 iterations. I’ve tried a few models since with varying degrees of success/enjoyment. The 15 is better than some of the less desirable versions, but not close to the original or any of the best. It’s a good shoe, not a great one. I always thought the Kinvara would be an all time great running shoe. It has not lived up to my expectations. In the age of super stack height and max cushion trainers, the Kinvara could be THE alternative, but it is merely AN alternative. That’s disappointing.
Ever since I discovered Saucony running shoes, I have loved them. In the last 10 years I have kept at least two pairs in my rotation at any time. This is my first pair of Kinvara and the truth is that they are beautiful shoes. My runs are wonderful on these shoes. Toe box is perfect and the low drop feels great. Why 4 stars? well, the only drawback was that these white beauties have a dark (burgundy) stripe on on the back and the color bled to the white after just the first run. It did not resist the sweat. I am a little disappointed because of this.
This is almost back to the perfect shoe with the exception of 2 items. 1st the collar around your Achilles and ankle is slightly too stiff. 2nd there is no tab or anything to grab to help pull the shoes up on the back of your foot. I love the return to a lower stack height. The shoe is flexible and has good cushion without losing your feel underfoot. These would have been back to how I felt about the K12's or It's with those minor changes. I have over 30 pairs of kinvara dating back to the K2's.

After many years of wearing the Ride and going through the many changes with each new edition, I decided to try the Kinvera. What a mistake. It appears that much of the shoe has been stripped out to achieve the weight and support. I still go back to the older versions of the Ride, when I can find them. If I wanted to look like I was wearing a Hoka, I would buy a Hoka. Don't mess with success.

I was running after a rain/snowstorm and got head to toe drenched by a car driving through a large puddle while standing too close to the curb. Good news is the Kinvara 15 drains water very well and was the first piece of clothing/gear to dry. The Kinvara 15 never felt heavy or waterlogged and still retained the nice snappy feel of a low stack road trainer. I highly recommend.

Amazing shoe right out of the box. In a world of high stack/quicksand cushion shoes, this is a great lightweight option for speedy days or easier days to build plantar muscles. I would recommend no more than 20 miles a week on these if you do 60mi/wk, but I find them crucial to my training. I wear a size 9 in Nike (Pegasus) and Ride 17’s, and these fit the same.
Disappointed again in the fit. The heel cup is too narrow and I do not have wide feet. The peregrines fit me fine. I have been using them for over a decade. Both the freedom five and the kinvara are too narrow in the heel cup. Probably just need one to two millimeters on each side to widen it and it would be perfect but alas I must return once again
