These are my new favorite pants. I bought them in every color they had in stock (full price! Which I never do!) I’m 5’7”, and fluctuate between 155-165 lbs. I’m small on top, but have had consistent challenges finding pants from outdoor brands that work with my butt and thighs. These are perfect, fun, and look stylish. I wear them to work, hanging out, hiking, a little scrambling, doing house projects, etc. I get complimented all the time on them, especially in the light green color. Mountain Hardwear, please please PLEASE make more of these. I will buy them all.
These pants are really cute and comfortable however unfortunately as i was putting them on for the first time the built in belt ripped at the back? it looked at if the two parts were just crudely glued together so im a bit disappointed in the quality. I’ll have to sew it back together as I still wish to keep the pants!
Love the fit, but agree with others that a smaller size would be nice. For climbing, more pockets would be awesome. Things easily fall out of the side pockets.
Got these for sport climbing and bouldering because I love wearing boxy-cut, oversized clothes. Unfortunately, these are too big, even for someone who loves that style. Love the cut, style, stretch -- reminds me of Gramici pants. If Mountain Hardwear made these in a size xxs like they started doing with their other styles, I would buy this again. For reference, I am 5'2", 115 lbs, with athletic build.
Love them so far! I'm usually a size 8-10 (31 inch waist) in pants and got a large because I wanted them to be relaxed for climbing and they are perfectly oversized! I personally love how they sit, just above my hips, loose and comfy. A medium would have been true-to-size but I'm super happy with the large. They feel pretty breathable but I haven't taken them outside yet.
Good - not great - pants. EVERYTHING sticks to the fabric - dog hair, threads, burrs, etc. The belt continually twists in on itself to the point that I’m just going to dispense with it, and then have to deal with another belt. AND - the pants are very long-waisted so they pooch out over my stomach. But otherwise they are comfortable and durable.
Wow I am so happy that there is FINALLY a pair of outdoor pants that is baggy that also fits curvier ladies. The cut is different from a lot of existing outdoor pants. If you have typically struggled to find an outdoor pair because you find pants that are loose at the waist, ok in the hip but too restrictive in the thigh areas then try this pair!!
These pants are super durable and I love the way they fit - although just be aware before buying that they do run big, so I would maybe size down. Also, at least on the lighter pairs, the fabric of the pants seems to be kind of sheer, so you can see the outline and shape of your underwear kind of clearly on the side of the butt without the pocket.
The pants are nice and baggy and I feel like I can move around in them freely which is what I was looking for. But the waist is so tight! I ended up removing the belt because it’s really annoying when taking the pants on and off. It gets stuck in the belt hole. It’s still too tight. But I’ll just wear them when I’m not bloated lol
Love the fit and cut of these pants - loose but not too baggy, just the right amount of stretch, and super flattering. My only complaint is the fabric. I wore them for ONE climbing gym session and the pants are pilling on the front; not even a place that sees friction. So odd.
