Love the Fabric, Fit is Off

I bought these tights for my 4 year old twins to wear under shorts this winter since they insist on wearing shorts year round. I love the Omni Heat technology and the fabric holds up well to daily usage without pilling or losing its shape. My complaint is with the fit. The ankle opening is really quite tight and also tight through the calves. However when you get to the thighs and waist, it's like a completely different size. The waist is way too big and the bum and gusset are saggy. I also think they could be made a bit longer in the legs. So, overall, it does function for keeping little legs warm in the colder months, but the fit could use some tweaking.

My 3 Grands are Toasty

I bought these as a base layer for my Granchildren. Their ages are 10 years old, and 9 years old. The nines are twin boys, and ten is a girl. The three kids snowboard in Minnesota with their Dad. I know this is a lot for one parent and I wanted to help them have great days on the slopes. My son must call breaks as the kids are toasty warm and quite happy to stay outside. To be fair, it's not just the base layer, they are also weaing Columbia outerwear. Thanks Columbia-your contribution to family fun through quality products is enormous!

Great base layer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought shirt and pants for my daughter to wear under her Halloween costume to Trick or Treat. I chose Columbia because it was cheaper than that other brand that everyone seems to buy and I wasn't disappointed. She stayed warm for an hour with no complaints. I'm hoping she gets more use out of these this winter, to go outside to play. Great quality and fit.

warm and comfy

We purchased these for our kids to wear while cheering and playing soccer during the winter months. Their performance was enhanced because they were not as cold as they would have been had they not had them. We didn't have to remind them to put them on. They did not restrict their movements. We will buy these again when these are too small.

Perfect for mammoth

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son was very warm and comfortable in this pants very stretchy for snowboarding, hike and more. Every penny worth my money. My son is 3yrs old & 9mnths. Pretty close to be 4. I bought the xx-small and it was perfect not to tight not to big. I’m pretty sure he could used them for next winter season like I said they don’t fit him tight.

My 3-year-old attends a year-round outdoor preschool, and these base layer tights are the fantastic! They keep him warm and comfortable all day, they're very washer friendly (delicate cycle, tumble dry low) and they fit!

Warm!

My son wore these outside in the snow and said they kept his very warm. He never liked the feel of traditional thermal underwear, so this was a great alternative. They are very smooth against his skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We fell in love with omni-heat products while skiing. Purchased these in blue for our son for Spring baseball season. They've been great! Lightweight, but super warm! Great base layer!
