Favorite backcountry snowboard pants!
Perfect backcountry snowboard pants! I absolutely love these pants because they are waterproof, lightweight, great ventilation, lots of pockets, adjustable belt, and wide at the bottom to fit over boots. I am 5’3 and got the XS since they run long. I love the black/blue color combo! I highly recommend getting these pants! They are more of a shell so I make sure to wear the Arc’teryx Kyanite base layer bottoms to keep me warm
Terrible quality
Terrible quality! Only wear one time to snowboarding and The top portion of the leg is pilling and tearing. Contacted the support team, and they said it is normal sign of use and does not covered under warranty!
5 Star - Arc'terx Continues to Impress
I purchased this for my daughter to use snowboarding. She's 5'3" and 110 lbs and wears size 2. It performs great, and there is no visible wear after multiple trips this season. It's just a shell pant (no insulation) but the Gore Tex material holds in warmth so she wore it over a base layer and thin pair of sweats. No issues with temps in low to mid 20's.
Zipper is horrible
Zipper is horrible!!!!!!! Always slip down. Glad this one has belt to hold my pants not to fall down! Every 2 run, I have to stop to pull up the zipper. So disappointed for the price I paid. Do not recommend at all
New fit is tight in the thighs
I bought these again because they are my favorite ski pants! I used my last pair for hundreds of days in the backcountry until the seam tape started to fail. They weren’t able to warranty them for some reason so I bought these. The updated fabric and Fit doesn’t work for me anymore and I am sad because I can’t return them (I wore them once to see if I could get used to the new fit). They are extremely tight in the hips/thighs/butt. Waist fits loosely so sizing up wouldn’t help me.
Almost perfect
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like almost all my Arc’teryx products, I absolutely love these pants. The fit is fantastic, they look super stylish, and they perform exactly as I hoped. I also really appreciate that they now come in short sizes more often! The only small drawback, as with the previous model, is that when bending down deeply, the zipper tends to open a little.
Staple Ski Tour Pant
My go-to ski tour pant for years. Love the big vent zips. Sad there's no belt loops on this version, as I don't find the built in belt stays in place too well for me. I'll likely sew some on and cut out the internal belt to wear a flat external one.
Great ski pants
I’ve used these for a couple of seasons. I love that arcteryx makes pants in tall. I’m 5’10”, so I love that the se fit perfectly in the tall size. Great pocket locations - good for a phone so that it’s further away from your transceiver.
Look nice, but not very practical
Nice cut and colour is great, but the popper at the waist pops open when you sit down - such a poorly thought through design for ski wear, there should at least be a hook. I’m going to have to add one myself!
Nice fit and colour
Skied Whistler and in cold temperatures -28 degrees Celsius at mount Tremblant (Quebec). The only part of my legs that where cold where my knees. Love those pants. Nice colour.
