Interesting Design, Good for Field Work
I’ve had about a month to play around with this mug, and I’ve found it well suited to my application. I fill the reservoir with coffee at the office, and when I get to the field I fill the cup part with the coffee and refill the reservoir with water. I only drink coffee in the morning and water all day, so it’s nice not to have to carry around two cups all day. It reminds me of a cooler version of the old Stanley thermoses with the cup on top. My only issues are the lid is not quite firm enough to really enjoy drinking out of (although it stops splashes fine) and I wish the reservoir were a bit bigger or wider, it seems like there’s extra room in between the cup and reservoir.
Reliable, versatile bottle
This bottle really comes in handy when trying you're on the go. I use the water bottle part for water, and the detachable mug for a to-go coffee flask when I'm going places. It's also great for sharing beverages. The cap of the flask portion is a little difficult to get back into the holder but I imagine a technology like that isn't easy to make. I do wish it would fit a bit more snugly on the flask though. Aside from that, really useful bottle that I use every day.
Multipurpose Magic
I just got back from 5 days on the Selway in a Kayak. On trips like this you have to carry everything in the boat with you so space is limited. This was so helpful. I was able to make coffee for our whole group in the main vessel while drinking my own cup. No one had to wait for the slow drip. During the day Fresh water was key and at camp in the evening one large batch of cold cocktails to share. Great product for an amazing trip.
Multibev is a great coffee starter v1.
I like the idea and functionality. I believe extending the neck well that hokds the foldable hot lid would be a good next version. Ability to hold some crashers and sugar packets along with would be great. Not sure why it was decided to put that on the top though..seems it would have been better on the botrom with a double screw lid of some sort.
Love this!
Love always having a water bottle and the option to use the lower for hot beverages on the go. Keeps my water cool and my coffee hot. I have 2 and use them every single day whether I'm headed to the range, camping, or just random errands. Thank you for such a great product! Will make great Christmas gifts too.
Needs better top
A mostly good design. Two cons: 1) the top is not appropriate for drinking in the car (too easy to splash liquid on yourself), 2) the profile of the top is too high and gets in the way when trying to store in vehicle side door cupholders (this is the norm in drink bottles, ugh).
Good idea but...
I was really excited about this 2-in-1 water bottle but didn't pay attention to the diameter of it. I'm a 5' 7" female and don't have huge hands and this water bottle is not comfortable / easy to hold - it's too fat for me to hold with one hand. And because the exterior is not grippy, I don't feel secure holding the 16oz cup with one hand when I have hot coffee in it. Also, the Roll and Fold Lid is NOT very tight and pops off every time I pick the cup up out of my car cup holder -- maybe because my hand is little and doesn't reach down far enough past the lid...? Anyway, overall the cup is pretty sketchy for me when I have hot coffee in it so I have to be extra careful. I do like that I don't have to carry two separate cups when I'm out and about but not being able to hold the coffee cup with one hand and constantly being on the verge of spilling hot coffee on myself makes it not worth the price for me. I'd rather have saved the money and put up with carrying a leak-proof coffee travel mug in addition to my water bottle.
My new go to for on the go!
This is by far the best water bottle/multi function to-go beverage hauler I have ever owned! Everything stays cold or hot and no leaks! Very happy with the purchase and impressed by far my favorite Camelbak product to date!
Great versatility!
I bought this bottle for a trip, and I've used it every day. My coffee stays hot for hours In the 16 oz cup! Love it!!
Perfect size!
Very pleased with this thermos! It is compact but also carries plenty of coffee!
