A thick, weighty, well made coat, constructed with a medley of soft warm winter fabrics: oodles of down in wide baffles, covered with thick, soft wide-wale corduroy and lined with classic patterned brushed flannel coordinating with color of corduroy. Sleeves lined with smooth, silk-like fabric for easy on and off. Has a hefty YYK easy zip zipper, 2 generous outer hand pockets lined with same soft, warm brushed flannel, one inner chest pocket w/zipper & room enough for a iPhone MAX. A nice touch is the cool 1950’s style fabric label sewn inside coat over inner pocket measuring approx. 2.5 X 3 inches saying: “Wear It- Repair It- Hand It Along - Patagonia Iron Clad Guarantee”. The coat is incredibly warm, comfy and feels like wearing a thick, soft comforter. I’m 5’2” 138 lbs 36C and between SMALL and MEDIUM. MEDIUM is often too large, though Patagonia’s “FIND MY SIZE” always steers me to size Medium. I’m so glad I followed Patagonia’s suggestion in this case and purchased Medium. Other than the sleeves being 2 inches too long, Medium fits perfectly elsewhere w/more than enough room for layering & still having room for freedom of movement. HIGHLY recommend!! Well worth the $$$.
Nice jacket excellent warmth to weight ratio. Not sized for petite woman though. Sleeves too long and size is off. Good quality though.
I love this coat except the side pockets are open - I wish they had zippers. I purchased a small and it’s roomy. I don’t know about other sizes but the small is slightly bigger than I would like. It’s warm and well-made.
