Lightweight and soft, not scratchy at all. Good quality and washed well. The zippers are great, easy to take the legs on and off unlike others we have tried. Waist is adjustable so that's good. The front pockets are deep and work well.
Water resistant kid's pants
These are nice kid's convertible pants. We got them in December, and it's been pretty cold here, so we haven't quite tried them as shorts yet, but as pants, they're great. We used them up in the snow in Kings Canyon / Sequoia National Parks, and our son really liked them. They never wetted through, and were very flexible for him to run around in. The pockets are huge, and the zip off legs feature YKK zippers and are color coded. Solid pants!

Excellent pants. See photos after 30 washes. Fit is great. Very durable. Zippers are easy on and off. Highly recommended My son loved the pants. They are great for a hike. Easy to use. Would highly recommend!
Flexible pants with good features
We got these pants in kids M to try for my 10 and 8 year olds who are very active. The sizing turned out to be better for everyday wear for the older one, who loves wearing them as shorts. The material is light and it's very flexible for any type of activity, and is not too noisy. Thanks to the nice adjustable waist band, we used them as long pants over base layer pants for winter activities for my younger son. The lower legs come off easily and have color coded zippers to keep track. Getting them back on is a little tricky, but I think that's the case for any convertible pants. The pockets are good, and there's even a nice "hidden" zippered pocket as well, which the boys love. The sizing is a bit weird for our boys, as the length as pants is not quite enough for my older son, but they work great as short and the waist fits well. They are also quite roomy in the leg, which some may like, but that will vary by child. Overall, they have been durable and easy wearing in both pants and shorts.
High quality but sizing is generous
These pants are well made and my kiddos were excited to give them a test. However, the sizing seems to be off as my 7yr old daughter (90th percentile for height and weight, typically size M/8) was swimming in size M. I'll hold onto them until they fit, but for now we can't wear them.
Durable and versatile
Comfortable, high quality pants that are great for hiking. Easy to convert to shorts and back to pants with the zipper. My 10 year-old was able to do it herself without any help or explanation. The shorts are a good length.

Great Pair of Pants
My son likes the joggers. He says they are comfortable, and easy to wear. He has yet to wear them as shorts as the weather has been too cool. He wears them outside and they keep him warm but not hot. The waist sits just right, and is a good fit. The pockets are nice and deep.
