OUTSTANDING

Just got back from Whistler. Coldest week of the season. Ski'd for a week, with avg base temps of 5f and peak temps of -20f. Gloves performed EXTREMELY WELL. No liners/warmers needed. Very impressed with the quality and performance. HIGHLY Recommend.

Good dry gloves, but not for extreme cold

These are the first gloves I’ve owned with Gore-Tex and I don’t think I’ll go back. Hands stay dry and don’t freeze like other gloves when dealing with snow. These are also very roomy. I have large hands and finding gloves that fit comfortably can be a challenge. These worked great until it hit about 15 degrees. At that point, it did not keep my fingers warm. At 0, they became unusable as my fingers went numb. If you’re looking for gloves and don’t regularly deal with cold below 15, I recommend these.

REI hit the mark with these

Seem to be well made and are nice warm and comfortable. In -18f windchill low activity perfect. If working hard in those temps will be likely too warm. Have to read the warnings - don't yank hand out and pull lining with it else will be fun to get back in. But it seems logical if you think about it.

Not bad

These gloves will keep your hands warm to about 20˚. I received them for Christmas and used them while shoveling snow. They did not keep my hands warm today at 15˚F (-8˚ windchill). The Gortex keeps your hands dry so if you're in temps above you will be ok.

Great backcountry gloves

Used these for a backcountry ski trip in Colorado. Temps in the low 20’s, hands were warm all the time, and poles were easy to manage. Really happy with them!

Super Warm Gloves

I bought these because my hands used to freeze during winter hikes, and they are absolute game changers. I’ve tested them in crazy cold temps down to -10°F, and my hands were legit toasty the entire time. The Thindown insulation is super warm, it’s thin but keeps the heat in like a furnace. The GORE-TEX lining works perfectly too, so I get zero moisture from the snow and no sweaty palms inside. They feel super tough, and even after being rough with them on some rocky scrambles, they barely have a scratch. One minor thing is they are a little bulky, so tying a tiny knot can be tricky, but that's the trade-off for this level of warmth. If you get cold hands easily and want something that actually works in the negatives, stop looking. These are the gloves you need. Five stars, hands down!

Ok gloves, but could way better

I wanted to love these gloves, but like the last pair I had, they put insulation in the cuff. Who’s wrists are getting cold? All that does is make everything bunch up around your wrist and gets so tight they’re harder to put on. I’m also not a fan of the insulation itself—it’s soft and squishy, moves around, and feels like your hands are in plastic bags. Because of that, they’re not as warm as they could be. I still prefer my old pair that used pile insulation and had enough room for poly liners on really cold days (which were included). Those were just a better design. I’d probably give these a 4. If the gauntlet were bigger, the cuffs weren’t insulated, and they were actually warmer, they’d be a lot better. As they are now, they’re good to about 20°F, but not much beyond that. The outer material is great.

Pretty Good Winter Glove

Pretty good glove, after a single use of snowboarding some stitching on the thumb was loose. Not sure how durable long term, but will definitely last a season or two.
