Warm, rugged, and a lil wet after a while
Pretty nice. Worn hard for about 4 months in Maine winter, hiking basically everyday in snowy/rainy conditions. I am starting to see my socks are wet after a walk, not sure what’s up with that. My feet are still not cold tho lol. I wear size 9/9.5 and I ordered size 8 in this boot. Perf fit. Comfy. Be mindful when driving they can be clunky fam
If Only....
If only these boots had a taller profile. And the entire upper material contained leather. And the tongue was cut to the height of the top of the boot. In essence, what I look for in a winter boot is warmth and dryness for the feet. They kept my feet dry as long as I didn't walk through water deeper than eight inches. But they didn't seem particularly warm on cold, snowy Michigan days. As the owner of another pair of tall Xtratuf boots I wanted to love this winter style. Also, as other reviewers have mentioned, the uppers felt stiff. Oh well...
Outstanding boots.
I lived in the Pacific Northwest of USA for years, and am a big fan of Xtratuf classic boots. I just moved to Atlantic Canada, and purchased these for wet, icy, snowy winters. They are amazing. Warm, comfortable, consistent with Xtratuf sizing. (I'm an 8.0-8.5 in regular shoes, and bought a 9.0. It is the perfect size with wool socks.) They're heavier and wider than some winter boots, but this gives them the usefulness and durability for standing up to the weather. Highly recommend.
I love these boots!
These boots are so comfortable, warm, and stylish! I got them yesterday, and used them today while I wiped off my car from 5” of snow and dug it out of my driveway. My feet were so toasty and dry! And I just love how they look. I usually wear a 7/7.5 and I got a size 8. They fit perfectly with thick socks.
Great for cold and wet winters.
I live in Revelstoke, BC where we get a lot of snow and wet weather, but the temperature can occassionally dip to -20C. I have found these boots to be great for addressing all kids of weather, and I like the relatively tight upper for keeping snow out.
LEGACY
Sizing was way smaller than actual size. I ordered a 9 (I wear 8-8.5) the boots fit lit a 7-7.5 and I don't think the quality is as good as their other boots. I wouldnt recommend them. Or if you need them, make sure you get 1.5-2 sizes bigger.

Bought two pairs of these for my wife and her best friend who are coming Alaskan Coho fishing with me in September. They each wear a size 9 women's, but size 10 in these boots. Make room for extra heavy socks.
What I’d expect from Xtratuf
Daily wear for the last 3 months, comfortable and warm. I ordered an 8, and I usually wear a 7.5. Fit was perfect. Hasn’t shown any signs of wear yet.
