Sizing Notes
Measurements are stated in inches unless otherwise indicated. Size chart values represent body measurements, not garment measurements. Some women's pants are available in petite and tall sizes. Typically petite sizes fit women 4'11" to 5'3". Regular sizes fit women 5'4" to 5'8". Tall sizes fit women 5'9" to 5'11".
PETITE: Generally, as compared to regular sizes, petite sizes are 2.5 inches shorter in inseam, 1 inch shorter in body length, 1.25 inches shorter in sleeve length and ¾ inch shorter in total rise.
TALL: tall sizes are 3 inches longer in inseam, 2 inches longer in body length, 2.5 inches longer in sleeve length and 1.25 inches longer in total rise.
Capri or cropped pants have an intentionally shorter inseam—reference the technical specs instead of this chart.
Inseam is measured to the floor.

Gorgeous and warm
I received these products for free from the REI Trailblazers sampling program in exchange for my honest review. The olive green color is gorgeous and the coat is well made and warm. There are nice large hand pockets on the outside, a chest pocket and two inside pockets that all fit my large iPhone pro max handset. The hood has a nice brim and can be tightened down, if needed. The zipper can zip up from the bottom to give you extra room to move/sit. It is plush without looking boxy and fits my frame well. It has been great in 45 mph winds and kept me nice and warm. Love it!
Warm & dry = happy in the PNW
I think I’ve found my dream coat. It’s hard living in the PNW sometimes because it can be so wet and cold. This makes you wear multiple layers, puffy under waterproof, delayering, relayering, and more. Enter the REI Stormhenge Parka! I was immediately impressed by the ability to wear my normal clothes and simply put on a coat to go out in bad weather. Soccer games, walks, and to work I feel stylish and dry and warm. I 100% plan to wear this in the snow with the confidence that with the wrist and snitching on the hood I’ll be comfortable and no drifts will make it inside the coat. Another feature I love is the double zipper which makes it easy to vent a bit and sit comfortably without bunching when needed.
Awesome. GREAT DWR, Great Color, VERY WARM
Super impressed with everything REI branded I get, over and over again. Such a cute color, true to size (would size up for a looser fit or if you like layering under jackets), awesome durable exterior material, inner warm sleeves, great big pockets, and pocket locations. This will be an incredible coat to wear this winter in very cold weather. I am extremely impressed. Baffles are stuffed with down, with no compression or loose portions. Best part is probably the matte, durable material the coat is made from, means this coat will not tear, and will last forever.
Great forest green PNW jacket for colder walks.
This jacket fits just right, the length hits above the knees and doesn't limit movement. It flows well with the body while walking or even quick sprints in the woods. The inside fabric is soft to the touch and the lined pockets are such a nice touch. The pockets are big enough to keep valuables and warm the hands on chilly walks. The color is a beautiful forest green. This is such a beautifully flattering jacket for colder weather.
Almost Perfect
I was super excited to receive this jacket, but alas the weather's been so warm lately! Finally got an opportunity in temperatures with wind chills in the 20's and wind gusts in the 30's and I can't wait to try it in negative temps. (I'll update later with these results.) While my face was cold, I stayed warm with no leaks of cold air in this super soft coat. There are really nice, roomy pockets inside for snacks and even a water bottle, phones to keep warm, etc. The baffle around the neck kept any cold air from going down my neck and with the hood up, I was able to keep my face pretty warm. The bill on the front was enough to keep my hat dry when raining, and if pulled tight can keep your face well blocked. The coat was long enough to keep my whole core warm and this will be my go to for skiing as even with snow pants, my bottom is cold on the lift. Did I mention how great the fact that it's waterproofed is! The length was not at all restrictive when running around, but I do wonder if it would be too long if I were shorter (I am 5'7). Sleeve length was perfect and there is an inner, tighter sleeve which will help keep water from getting in. The one thing potentially missing is a clasp or two in a pocket where you could attach important things like keys.
Great looking and functional parka
Fits well, true to size or a hair on the small side - feels a little tight around the shoulders with a thicker layer on; if you are planning to wear heavier sweaters or layers under this you may want to size up. Length was good (I’m only 5’3”). It’s a good weight but definitely not the warmest jacket in very windy/cold weather and the bottom part does not have as much insulation so in very cold weather I’d choose something heavier. It seems nicely water resistant though I haven’t had the chance to test it in very wet or heavy rainy conditions. I really like the green color, it’s a good “nature neutral” but sharp enough to wear out as well. Will be a great jacket to travel with and can hold up to some easy walks in the woods as well.
Waterproof and Warm!
Amazing, I needed waterproof and warm!
Love it.
I needed a warm, waterproof, long winter coat for cold mountain trips and wet London winters. This coat has proven almost flawless: always warm, always cozy, perfect fit, beautiful color, and smart design. The big mitten and hat pockets are so convenient. The hood fits just right. The sleeves handle my long arms. The coat is warm when you need it to be (tested in the Alps!) but not overwhelmingly hot when worn indoors for a bit. It's puffy but fits in a suitcase without much trouble. And it's flattering! I was reluctant to splurge on this coat but can't imagine winter without it. Last week I was delighted to pull it out for another season. Well done, REI.
Very Warm, Zipper Broke after a Year
Very warm! This got me through a rough Boston winter and kept me warm on a February visit to Maine. The fleece lined pockets keep my hands warm even with out gloves. Loved all the pockets. I knew I could throw this on over anything and still be warm and protected. When I brought it out for this year, as I unzipped the bottom zipper flew off. I could reattach it, but it hasn't been the same since. The zipper comes apart. The bottom one comes off if I don't fully unzip super carefully. I now step in and out of the jacket so the zipper stays on. This happened after a year so I can't return it and repairs aren't done in house.
A cold weather DREAM
I’ve had my eyes on this parka for awhile and finally bought it a couple months ago! I’m 5’2” 110 lbs and originally bought an XS and ended up exchanging it for a small for a looser fit so I can add some layers underneath and it’s perfect! I’m ALWAYS cold and love throwing this on for early morning doggo walks over my pjs and it’s so incredibly warm and comfy. I live in a ski town and can’t wait to wear this when the temps really drop later this winter. The zippered pockets are also really nice and perfectly positioned to throw your cold hands in on walks. I honestly don’t know how I survived without this jacket because it’s absolutely become a cold weather staple!
