Great fit, crisp vision, stick to your face!

Very impressed! I previously used the Attack for mountain biking and found just a bit too much wind was getting in my eyes. I was going to go with the Wildcat, but after seeing that this pair is designed for narrower faces I'm glad I went with the Bobcat instead! I do love the maroon color. The blue lense is no where near as an intense blue in regular lighting, if anything it just looks brown. The vision is just as clear and crisp as you'd expect from Smith. These do fit under the visor for storing during climbs and never budged. They are super light and thin, but I wasn't worried changing lenses since the pair seems so well made. Very, very happy with my Bobcats!

Bold for the boring

I’ve always been a bit boring, so my wife encouraged me to get the Bobcat’s in the marble colorway, which is a departure for me from the black frames I always get. That’s the reason I went with the Bobcat’s over the Wildcat’s which I’ve previously owned. Absolutely love the slightly bolder look, and the fit is a little less heavy on the face than the Wildcat’s but still with that great coverage. I also love the ChromaPop lens they came with. Perfect for riding in the full sun of southern Utah desert. Swapping lenses also only takes a few seconds now I’ve gotten familiar with the process. Another terrific product from Smith. This is why I keep coming back.

Good multi sport

They really are great for both skiing and biking. Wore them on a ski tour on a cold clear day and when I transitioned to ski down I opted to keep them on instead of changing to my googles. They were great. Went biking with them and they are really great with the transition lenses. I got the black because the extra transition lenses were out of stock and the black are the only ones that come with transition lenses as a base model. I would have gone for a different color frame but I still fully enjoy them.

Obsessed

I got these to wear skiing, xc skiing, snowshoeing and running as I love all of the above. They are incredibly awesome even when I get super sweaty running. Love the rose gold, too! They didn't slip off my face at all, the nose piece is super comfortable, and while they have kind of an "oversized" look, they didn't swallow my face up. My face and dome are pretty small, so that is an accomplishment :) I also love that they come with a clear lens so I can wear them skiing on super cloudy days. They were a bit pricey, but as long as I don't scratch them (prayyyy for me!), I imagine I'll have them for many years to come.

Unusable fit, cheap quality

I badly wanted to love these sunglasses but unfortunately I can't use them. I have a lower nose bridge and the click-adjust nose pads are just not sufficiently adjustable enough to get the right fit so that these don't slide down my face every 2 seconds while doing an activity. The sunglass arms dig into the side of my head painfully and cause my head to throb on rides. The lenses are super fiddly to change and on top of it all, the build quality just seems cheap and not at all worth the premium price. Unfortunately these sunglasses are just a very expensive paper weight for me. Too bad as they looked so good!

These glasses are swell.

I love the transition lenses! It is such a treat to have the lenses adjust to the light level - and so great to have that happen over the course of a ride that goes between forest and sunny exposure. So much better than my old glasses where I was always picking the lense that would be best for most of the ride. The fit is also great - I've got a smaller face, and I like the coverage without feeling like my glasses are way too big. Comes with an extra clear lense. Not sure when I'd chose to use that. Maybe night riding? I kind of wish the extra lense was yellow so I could turn grey days a little sunnier.

The underrated shades

Not just for women, this quality piece of eyewear is everything you are looking for. With a clear lens to tag along and a sweet case there isn’t an adventure these shades don’t work well in. They fit nice and snug and look amazing. The adjustable nose pieces are a game changer too, whether I need some breathability for running or close fit for an early cold ski down the mountain these work very well.

What are you waiting for?

I’ve been using the wildcat for a couple years now and my helmet was always pushing those down my nose. That problem is gone thanks to the new design and size of the bobcat. They stay put on my face so well! I bought the photochromic lens for these and they are the perfect trail lens. I can see everything even when they are dark which has always been a problem for me with other dark lenses in the woods. For gravel or road rides with less shade I’d probably want a full on sunny lens as the photochromic goes clear to grey. Overall, I’m very pleased and would definitely recommend the new bobcat.

High quality, better quality than Wildcat

I purchased these for my wife. I own the Wildcats, but they sit too big on her face. I ordered these because they seemed like a smaller version of the wildcat... which they are, but I have also found them to be a bit better quality. They are a harder plastic and feel more solid. Not that the wildcats are not solid, but these feel like a step above. If these fit my large face, I would probably prefer them. Long story short, very high quality and they seem like they will last a long time. Don't order if you have a large face, but should fit women and some men better than wildcats.

Great fit

The new wildcat frame is perfect for women. The fit is excellent and the lens coverage prevents the sun from getting in your eyes even while in aero position on the bike. Changing lens is a little more difficult than with pivot lock system but still fairly simple. Highly recommend
