Good size for 6 people, does not do great on smaller burner sizes or stoves. Use a stove that has wider burners to help spread heat round better. Cleans up well and easliy stores your extra tidbits in the pots. I would get a towel or potholder wrapper for the handle so it doesn't bounce round damaging the finish. I could change something I would just change the handle to be full length/not foldable. The handle is fine but a little gimicky with folding when the pot is big. I'd prefer a sturder handle.
I bought this for my camping trip to Colorado. I absolutely loved using this set. I made chicken and steak fajitas, banana and chocolate chip pancakes, and fried bacon, among other things. Clean up was a breeze. I like the fact that everything fits all in one, plus a few other things I used with the set. I do wish that the lids were metal and not hard plastic. I did use the small pot over a fire. I liked it had a removable handle that can be used to move the pot away from the fire once it was done cooking. The big pot has rubber handles, so I do not recommend cooking over the fire so they do not melt. I certainly will be buying this again in the future when it is time to get a new set.
Literally warped and had paint come off the first time using. This should be considered cookware for kids VS real outdoor cookware. Terrible.
I purchased this GSI cookset for a three night trip that I just returned from. While in camp, I found that the large (5L) lid does not fit the pot. I noticed the issue when I first received the product. I could make it fit by pushing down hard while working the rubber grommet into place, but that is not an option when you have it sitting on your stove with boiling water inside. The lid for that smaller (3L) pot fits nicely with just a little play in the fit. I do not know if the lid is too big or if the pot is too small, but this is obviously a defect in manufacturing and quality testing. The mesh sack that it comes in could also be just a little wider at the opening - it is a pain to get it on and off. Other than that, I would give this 5 stars. We had 4 in our party. Jerry Costolo
This is our go-to for family cooking because of the different features that it offers. The lids, pots and pans all nest together into a handy bag. The carry bag can also be used a dish sink - we have never used it that way, but cool idea! Our set has held up well, no issues
Delivered in an intact box, but the large pot arrived with a dent in the bottom. Not sure if this will affect future cooking results, but disappointing start to what I had hoped would be a good purchase experience.
I used this on a recent camping trip. It worked well and love how it stacks into itself to save space. Unfortunately one of the tabs broke off the lid after use. Exchanging was easy, just be aware. Otherwise what I was looking for.
With another kid in the family to feed, I went with the large size! It’s been great to cook a bunch of pasta or Mac n cheese, boil dish water or make hot cocoa for a group. Excellent quality and pack ability.
Love everything about this set. Light weight, easy to use & performed all tasks needed. Super space saver. Recommend buying a second handle though.
It does the things! But the lids have an orange pressure release valve that falls out and it's kind of a pain to fit back in.
