Black Diamond  HeavyWeight ScreenTap Gloves

The gloves feel nice but I’m disappointed with the quality. After only a month of light use (just driving to and from work) stitching between thumb and forefinger has begun to unravel. Other BD items I’ve had in the past typically held up much better. I doubt these gloves will make it through 1 winter season. In addition (just for awareness), there is no texture on the inside of these gloves (I already knew that before purchasing), but it makes operating things like your phone difficult because everything is so “slippery”. Also, for whatever reason, the thumb is too short. I’ve always worn size Large and never had an issue with any brand. It’s not a deal breaker, but not as comfortable as I’d like.

First impressions: sturdy gloves. A bit tighter and stiffer than the mid-weight gloves; same temperature rating as the mid-weight gloves. These gloves really do let you use your cell. Added a leash to each glove so I hopefully don't lose them on the trail. Like the leather reinforcements but don't understand the design.

I have the mid-weight liners in a small and I love them. I sadly lost one and needed a new pair. I decided to buy bought the mid-weight replacement and to try these Heavyweight liners for colder days. After trying them 3 times, they were not for me. They were stiff, felt really tight, and still had the same temp rating as the mid-weight. They added no value to my glove collection, so I will be returning them.

These are great, it is just getting cold in my area, and these have been great as my main glove in the mornings, when I run. I am sure I will use them with my ski gloves once the snow flies. They fit very well and the touch screen actually works.

When I first put these on, they felt way too small. After a few uses I got used to the fit and now I think they are awesome. These gloves are great for anything high effort where a beefier glove would soak with sweat. Also super tactile and the phone screen thing is a bonus.

Recently while at a fitness club my coat was stolen with my Black Diamond gloves in the pockets. No hesitation in ordering a replacement pair. I have Raynauds disease in my hands, these are the only gloves that keep my hands warm. Thank you Black Diamond!

These are pretty warm, very soft and comfortable (mid-weight) gloves. Screen touch is excellent. The only flaw is that they lack grip. No real tactile element to hold a phone or open a dog waste bag. Too slippery to hold safely.

Works as advertised - perfect for a lot of my hikes here in Ecuador >12k feet. Have bought some waterproof covers for light rain, as these wet out relatively quickly (do not blame - this is not designed for heavy weather).

I bought the gloves for my son who commutes into the city every day and gave them to him as an early Christmas gift. I’m quoting him, I love these gloves. I don’t know how they work, but they really work great!

These gloves are very narrow, even the large size being way too tight for most men's hands. They might work well for women, as they are tapered and sleek.
