Think twice about ordering from REI.

REI sent me a used loading ramp. Exterior of the package was in bad condition and had obvious signs that the box was opened. Item inside was damaged. Does REI not have QA check process before shipping out from the distribution center? What a joke. I returned the item at the Tukwila store and that place was depressing and nobody said hello except for the security personnel. Give that man a raise (This was during late Summer 2025)! All the retail staffs seem like they didn't want to help anyone. I felt sorry for the elder person working at the cash register. She seemed like she lacked training and took forever to process my return...

An easier way to load an e-bike

We have a Thule EasyFold XT rack where the tray is 29.5 inches above the ground when mounted on a 2023 Toyota Highlander with factory receiver hitch. Pushing a 50 lb e-Bike up the ramp was accomplished easily. Inserting the tab at the end of the ramp into the slot on the tray required force, but was secure.

The best idea- drive up ramp

Since e-bikes are significantly heavier than a regular bike this ramp makes it much easier to put the bike onto the rack.

Thule ramp will not work with all Thule carriers

The Thule Foldable Loading Ramp will not work with all Thule Bike Racks. Thule does not manufacture a work-around part to connect the ramp to the rack and the carrier cannot be modified to accept the ramp

Purchasing a bike rack from REI

The persons who helped us choose and purchase our bike carrier were courteous, helpful and knowledgable.

Works

I give it two stars because for the price of the bike rack it should have been included
