Good for a year's worth of visits, the annual America the Beautiful Pass covers entrance and day-use fees at federal recreation sites across the country, including all our national parks.

- Covers entrance or standard amenity (day-use) fees for the passholder and all occupants in a personal vehicle at per-vehicle fee sites
- Or covers up to 4 adults at sites that charge per person (kids 15 and under get in free)
- Covers park admission only; does not cover Expanded Amenity or Concessionaire fees such as parking, RV hookups, camping, shuttles, boat launches and guided interpretive tours

I renewed my National Parks Pass.. I will continue to do it every year through REI. They make it easy.
Quick and easy to buy before National Parks trip
Bought the pass at REI just before my trip to six National Parks. Same price as buying it at park, but saves a little time if you buy in advance so when you get to the park you don't have to spend time making a transaction and hold up the line. The pass is worth it if you expect to visit multiple National Parks within a year. *Buy it close to the date of your trip because it expires one year from the end of the month you purchase the pass. *(Check the NPS website for all the parks you want to visit so you know which ones require a reservation in addition to your pass - Arches, Carlsbad Caverns, etc)
Card not punched
Shipping was quick. Card was not punched to show month it activated and/or when it will expire. Utter laziness by processor. I marked the date with a sharpy since I don't have a hole punch. I will have to keep my purchase receipt with the card in the event I run into any issue using the card.
Great for multiple park visits!
Great for multiple park visits! I have 5 planned national park visits for 2024 and made sure to order my pass. It grants access to 2,000 sites, including the national parks. It's good for 12 months from your date of purchase so it's not restricted by calendar year.
America The Beautiful Annual Pass
A great and convenient way to see the National Parks. We used this pass to visit the mighty 5 of Utah and other park. Highly recommended to buy this pass if you plan to visit National Parks.
Worth the 80$
I use this pass to go to national parks such as Olympic, Mt Rainer and even Mt St Helens National Volcanic Monument. It is good to use in national forests and also BLM lands! It waives entrance fees (minus the stupid reservation fees) and allows for "free" parking in the off-hours of park operations. TIP: Buy this pass at the first of any month so you can get an "extra" 27-29 days, because these passes always expire at the end of the month you purchased it. Happy explorin'!
Buy it at the park!
If you buy it at the park, more money goes directly to them AND you get the full 12-13 months instead of 11 when you buy here. It is very quick to buy at any entrance station at a park! They will also give you a hangtag if you'd like.
Convenient way to buy a National Park Pass!
This was a great gift for my step daughter's family since they are going out west this summer. We had trouble buying it online till we found out that REI had it.
Card Come Date Punched
I was disappointed to receive the parks pass pre punched. I purchased the card with the hopes of visiting some parks in the future. In the past, I have activated (punched) the card at the entrance to a park.
Go on and git
America is very beautiful and this pass will help you see that. It is worth every penny to see our National Parks. If you go to a NP at least three times a year this pass will pay for itself.
