It seems a good quality flashlight, decently bright with an easy focus adjustment (just twist the front end like an old Maglite to switch from flood to spot and back). I'm knocking off a star and a half purely for the fact that it has a weird proprietary magnetic charging cable instead of using a standard USB, because it is an enormously inconvenient hassle to have to keep track of one specific little cable out of the *hundreds* of USB cables that I have scattered throughout my home, just for this single flashlight. All three of my Blackfire/Klein flashlights? USB. All of my cycling lights? USB. My Black Diamond headlamp? USB. My Luci inflatable lantern? USB. My freakin' Nintendo Switch? USB! It's just silly that any rechargeable electronic product these days would not incorporate a fully USB charging cable (it's USB-A to proprietary magnet thingy). I haven't had to keep track of a unique proprietary power/charging cable since.....well, I don't remember exactly, but it's been a long time! The last half a star I'm taking off from this product's review score is for its very confusing graphic-only, explanation-less instructions on how to use the "memory setting" to customize light modes. I accidentally got my flashlight into the memory setting mode, and I'm having a hard time getting it back to normal function. I'm sure I'll get it eventually, but yikes... Bottom line, not a bad light overall, but it's got a couple of head-scratching things going for it. I'm glad I didn't pay full price, nor even full REI Outlet price (hooray for sale coupons!).
Good for almost everything, keep in your vehicle, keep in the house, easy to use, but I wish it was USBC charging.
Good flashlight. But a little too big, not for EDC.
Nice compact size and the materials are high quality. However, using the control button is frustrating. For example, how long to press the button to power off vs. change brightness. Also, the flashlight automatically dims after ~10 seconds when using the brightest setting.
Worked great for a couple months, then near useless. Flashed when not in use, didn’t turn on, or turned off in a couple seconds. Cycled through the settings at whim. Not worth the clearance price, unless you need a bright light for a short period of time
