The light output on this flashlight is excellent. It feels good in the hand, and has a good weight to it. The quality of the fit and finish is as good and better than most. The button to turn the light on feels solid and sure. Turbo mode really shows off the performance. When laying the light down, it wont rool because of the tab where the wrist lanyard is but it never interferes with your grip on the light. Ive had experience with other lights like Olight and Thrunight. This Coast light holds its own and for a much better price and warranty. You wont be disappointed.

Working in a cast iron foundry, I introduced this to 2 years in one of the dirtiest, most unforgiving environments available. I was impressed by it within weeks of purchasing, and it has been part of my EDC since. The durability of the flashlight is amazing. Works almost as good as when I purchased it, the charging port is a little weak now, and the focus doesn't quite lock anymore. The battery that came with it is still running strong, only needing to recharge it 1-2 times a week, even using the high and turbo modes frequently. It's small, relatively lightweight and powerful. I highly recommend this product.

I'm a auto mechanic and have been using coast flashlights for nearly 20 years. And the XP11R is by far one of the absolute best lights I've ever had. And the only thing I can complain about is the spot beam could be tighter. Other than that, the XP11R is in my opinion, absolutely perfect. Great job Coast

This light is G R E A T! It has become my new every day carry - goes with me everywhere light. It fits into my HP6 holster on my "go bag" and is always with me. This light is amazingly bright! The brightness cycle seems a little strange at first because of it's sequence (med, high, low) but will soon make sense. It is bright enough on medium that I don't need high very often. Press and hold the button for TURBO mode and hang on, you may wake up the neighbors with that 2100 lumens. What else could you want from a weather proof, dust proof, spot - flood adjustable beam, small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, super bright flashlight, that is also rechargeable via USB plug? You will NOT regret this light...

The light is really nice in the hand. Feel solid and well constructed. Overall look and feel are really pretty good. The build quality is there with this light. I liked the way it felt as soon as I had it in my hand. Doesn't feel cheap at all. It will get dinged and nicked tho if dropped on concrete or any other rough hard surface. The light works as it should with the 3 regular modes of high/medium/low. The turbo mode is very, very bright and great for lighting up a large area with the flood or further distance with the tighter narrow beam. Both the flood and narrow beam functions work good. Only couple of negatives I do have with it are the way the modes are set on the light. It goes from medium to high then to low mode. I'm not quite sure as to why Coast did it this way, but it's sort of odd. Lights should have a standard button function of high too medium and then low. Anything else is just odd in my opinion. Also the the beam lockout is weird to figure out. The instructions were less than helpful and stated nothing about twisting it after the click to tighten it down to keep from sliding back. Coast needs to address this in the manual which is just a paper and not much else. Another thing that bugs me is it doesn't have memory function for last mode used. Really wish lights of this caliber had this. Not having to click back thru the modes is a feature most lights should have if they have multi mode function. The USB C charging is really convenient since most people have USB C devices somewhere in their home today. The included charger cable with both USB C/USB on the one end was well thought out for those with USB C car chargers. Kudos on that Coast. The lighted tail cap button is a nice visual to to keep you informed about your battery charge. Also the included rechargable battery was nice to see. The tail cap being unscrewed to reveal the charge port is ok as long as it's waterproof. Have to wait and see if it stays dry under there. Overall tho the light works great. Fix the wonky mode settings and you have a really well done light.

Love the upgrade mines a beautiful 2600 lumen so pretty, still feels a lil on the light side (excuse the pun but some times I'm Punny like that) takes some getting used to. Love the tail cap that you can add your own lanyard and bead to, although the one it comes with is nice and stretchy not something you see everyday, but alas mine broke after a couple days with me being to hard for the light duty connection cord. The lights turbo mode is wonderful for being seen as my disabled wife and I cross the road. Quick click settings makes for easy light range high, med,low,and hold for turbo. Over all pretty darn good light. Wish it came with a holster being as how it is on the bulker side and not so easy to carry in the pocket. But it has my heart and illuminates the road ahead.

First off let me tell you about the warranty service I received from Coast. I don’t think I’ve received better service for a warranty than Coast. The process was so easy & only took about 5 minutes to complete. The next day I got an email that my warranty was confirmed and then had a shipment email. Received the new light in 2-3 days. The light that I was using is the XP11R. This light is the best flash light I have ever owned. It comes with a rechargeable battery which is awesome. If you’re looking for an everyday light for work, a light for camping or even for your home this is the light for you. It packs 2100 Lumens and is really durable. You will not be disappointed.

I absolutely love this flashlight! This light has been fantastic so far. Great battery life, a rugged design and intuitive, quick light settings. The battery indicator in the switch is great for knowing just how long you can go and the screw style recharging port keeps out the roughest of dirt and grime. I got some oil on the end while adding some to the plane at night and not a drop of it got in, in fact, it washed right off. This light is built to last and is incredibly tough. The focusing beam is a huge plus as well and came in handy a few times. If youre looking for a light that will last and handle anything you throw at it, look no further. This is the light you want.
