I just completed a nearly 13,000 mile loop of the United States. During the tour I ended up replacing my tires with a pair of Gironas. These tires took me through paved roads, dirt and gravel roads, rails-to-trails paths, and some single track. They performed wonderfully! My front tire has over 8,000 miles in it, and still going strong, but the rear tires needed to be replaced every 4,000 miles. I love these tires.
Tested out the girona RSL tires and I could not be more unhappy. God awfully slow for something labeled RSL. The only redeeming quality is a smooth ride. Every single revolution saps your energy. Save your money and buy pirelli cinturato tires. Even the slowest cinturato is faster than these ugly tires.
