Minimalist yet solid
Yes , I recommend this product
This is a solid rack that is almost invisible on my bike yet is solid, doesn’t rattle. I’ve only used it a few times on my Specialized Creo 2 bike and like it quite a bit. I can take off and put the rack back on in a couple minutes. However, with the rack only weighing a pound, well, I’m not sure it’ll be worth the trouble for any ride under 40 miles. The rack was quite easy to install with the exception of the quick release (QR) for the seat. The rack came with the QR installed on a short bar. My bike needed the long bar so I had to disassemble and reassemble the QR to put it on there. That assembly has about 5 parts that you have to hold together while putting a screw in. It’s not conceptually difficult but it is an interesting finger agility test.

Frame Mount Snapped after 2nd use
No, I do not recommend this product
Only used two times in the last week or so that I have owned this rack. It felt super solid at first, but after loading it under the weight specifications advised, the frame mount snapped leaving my rack and panniers to fall completely off my bike. I didn't think to leave a review and already returned the rack before taking a photo, but just a heads up to everyone wanting this rack.

Beware using with a gravel bike and Ortlieb bags
Yes , I recommend this product
The rack is solid. But once you add the Ortlieb panniers with the bulky hook attachment the clearance to the rear wheel is TIGHT. Like only a few mm to spare on my 45 mm tires. The normal rack vs the Light has a higher attachment rail that’s above the tire and eliminates the problem. This is great for a road bike though! Just an issue for gravel.

Works very well for holding bags and is light weight but the seat post strap could be improved
