Almost great
I have now taken this packraft on over 50 trips down rivers ranging from Class 1-4. I have taken it on an overnight trip. The boat has held up very well. My local river is shallow and rocky with lots of cactus and sharp pokey things on the bank. The fabric has not ever been punctured. I prefer the Neutron XL to my kokopelli recon, but would probably just buy an alpacka Mage or Gnarwhal next time if I have the extra money. For the money the Neutron is good. The thigh straps are horrible. I took it on one trip then immediately bought the upgraded thigh straps. The Tizip works very well. It is worth mentioning that like all Tizips, they are shipped unlubricated. So lube it before using it for the first time.
Wish I bought a Kokopelli instead
I bought this for a trip on the Deschutes River in Oregon. It was ok but my friend had Kokopelli and it was a lot lighter, more comfortable and just a better design. Overall the boat got me down the river but I ended up swimming a few rapids. I wish I would have done more research about other brands instead of buying this because REI has it.
Paddle Hard
Have been paddling this boat for a few months now. It's handled the class III and IV I've thrown at it. Haven't had any leaks/tears/punctures from the boot scoot boogie on shallow runs, to getting pushed up against walls on big water runs. Tzip has been smooth as butter thus far. The thigh strap upgrade was def worth it tho.
