Great mess kit!
Received free product
Really nice quality set. Perfect for camping. All items nestle into the pot making packing your mess kit quick and concise. This is a 2 person set, pot can handle 2 servings easily, and it has 2 bowls, spoons & forks. The lid of the pot has holes that make it function like a strainer too. Not sure if that’s a common feature but I love that! Takes on the heat quickly so good for reheating, boiling, or frying. I have to say one of my favorite features is that when you get home you can toss it all in the dishwasher! Overall a versatile and useful mess kit perfect for camping or perhaps even van/ minimalist living.

While compact and easily packable, ultimately it's too big for backpacking (while missing some silverware/cups that would make it a one piece-in-all design) and too limited for a one stop solution for van lifeing (and it would have to have cups/mugs and a knife to be complete anyways). A real big limitation is the lack of non-stick cookware which is essential when cooking in all environments in the outdoors while maintaining minimal clean up. Having decades experience with these types of products, this exists outside of the sweet spot where it's fine but not good enough to be ideal for most scenarios

Great camp cook set.

Received free product

The Stanley 14 piece cook set is a great compact addition to your camp kitchen for one or two people. It folds up securely with the handle locked over the lid, and all the pieces fit easily inside for packing and storage. I like that the liquid level markings are visible inside and out, and the stamped diagram of how to stack things for storage is a nice little feature. The drain holes in the lid also work well. The bowls are a good size, and the utensils do their job. It might be a tad heavy for a solo trip, though you could take out a bowl and the trivets to lighten the load. Clean up is easy, and overall good quality materials that should last a long time. This would also be a good option for simple car camping to keep things compact. I'm sure this will get a lot of use in my kit.

Great and compact cook set

Received free product

This camping cookset is great. It is nice and compact, with nesting bowls, cutting board/trivet, and utensils. The locking handle is great, and it didn't get hot to the touch while boiling water. I also enjoy the colander feature of the pot lid. It was easy to hold the lid with the silicone pad on the handle while pouring out the water.

A solid cookset with a great pot

Received free product

This is a solid cook set for a wide variety of uses. So far, I used it for car camping but it would be good for backpacking as well. The pot it great, with a locking handle that folds and locks to keep the set together during storage. I really like that it has measurements on the pot and that it is stainless without a nonstick coating. The lid is great and, although I did not test it, I think it is going to work a lot better from straining than others that I have used. The bowls are solid and fit well in the set. For car camping, having the serving spoon is helpful, but I would leave it when backpacking. It is nice that the utensils include a complete for instead of a spork, but I think they don't seem like they would hold up a long time. For the way that I cook while camping the trivets and cutting boards don't offer a lot, and I would definitely not take them backpacking. On the whole, this set is great kit for consolidating your cooking set up.

Compact and Lightweight!

Received free product

Great product! I'm so impressed. It is compact and lightweight. The main pot is deep enough to make mac n cheese. The handle stays cool. The silver wear collapses and is really sturdy. I love that you have a fork and spoon. The primary mixing spoon is sturdy as well. The bowls are deep. The cutting board is very stable. I'd recommend this for any backpacker or even car camping.

Compact cooking kit for 2 campers

Received free product

This is a nice compact kit for 2 campers. I am able measure liquid easily with the markings on the pot, boil water very quickly on my pocket stove, and the then remove from the stove with my bare hands, because the handle remained cool. The little trivets are a nice touch for holding hot bowls and everything seems very well made. I would recommend this kit for car camping and drive-up campground camping. To use for pure backpacking would be too much for me, especially over multiple days, as it is still relatively large and heavy.

Great portable cooking set

Received free product

The portable cook set has everything you need for a camping trip. The pan heated up evenly, and the handle remained cool to the touch. The included bowls and silverware fit neatly into the container for easy transport. This is a great addition to anyone's camping gear. I received these products for free from the REI Trailblazers sampling program in exchange for my honest review.

Great outdoor adventure culinary addition!

Received free product

Love it! A perfect two-person setup that is lightweight and durable. All pieces are compact and fit within the saucepan for ease of storage. Great quality for the price; love the features of a vented saucepan lid, nonslip cutting boards and silicone trivets included, and dual ended spoon and fork. The only negative aspect is that the spoons are small and shallow, otherwise an overall great addition to any outdoor adventure setup.
