So far I like this product. I have very fair skin and had some skin cancer so this works great. The only thing is you have to take of the top to get the cream out as it's super thick and hard to squeeze out. But a little goes a long way. I bought the adventure as I am on the beach a lot
it is a bit thick and leaves a white coat but its an environmentally friendly choice so i recommend this product anyways. great sunscreen, spent 5 days in a desert and didn't burn at all!
It’s mostly beeswax so it’s solid like a paste, smears on super thick, makes you shiny, feels super super greasy, and is hard to wash off at the end of the day. Worst zinc sun screen I’ve tried.
This stuff is really bad. Very difficult to get off and does not layer well with multiple applications. It does work and leaves no irritation or eye stinging. The only possible use case I see for this stuff is on your face when strenuously exercising.
Apparently, this is not what I needed. I thought it was regular lotion, but it is not. It comes out like vaseline. Plus it never really soaks into my skin. I accidently touched it to my shorts, and it will not wash out. Does anyone know how to wash it out?
It does what it says, but I took this on a four day trip to Lençóis Maranhensis and while I didn't get sunburned, everywhere that contacted sand turned into an abrasive paste that took multiple hours to remove completely. You literally have to scrape this stuff off (I used the edge of a metal nail file). Good if you need some good exfoliation, but there are better options that are less frustrating to remove.
Does not work. Everyone on our crew got burned after less than an hour on the water even thought this was applied heavily. Tried it again skiing a few weeks ago with the same results. A very expensive and not useful product. I like the idea of a natural product, but this zinc oxide didn't get the job done. Perhaps it protects against certain wave lengths--just not the ones that give you a sunburn. I'm going to try out a sunblock with titanium dioxide.
I bought this product for a trip to the BWCA and it was basically useless. The sunscreen came out thick (think like a stiff paste), was incredibly difficult to spread, and left a white sheen wherever you could get it to spread
I burn easily and used Badger SPF 50 on a trip to Tahiti where sun is very intense, especially when snorkeling. Also, i live in Soutwest and use it when hiking. Yes, it goes on thick, is slightly greasy, but it provided great protection and i did not get a sun burn.
This is the best, most effective sunscreen I've used since Bullfrog in the 80's. It stayed on long even after immersing myself multiple times while river rafting. It spreads easier when warm. I will definitely buy this again.
