I am so confused by the other reviews on here. I love these pants!! Tried them on in store and fell in love, but needed a different size so ordered online. Tried on a Small (I'm usually a 4-6 in jeans) but ended up getting a Medium. I'm 5'8" and the length is perfect! Lands on the feet unrolled, or cute rolled up to be at boot height. Bought these to be casual lounge pants, and the bug repelling fabric is a plus for when I want to go on a hike! They look and feel like a more structured pair of linen pants. Excited to take these out on the trails.
I was concerned with the one (and only one) review that it was too long in the crotch. However, I found them to be perfect if you wear them at your natural waistline - like a high-rise jean. They look and feel like scrub bottoms (but look nicer than scrubs) and since I work in healthcare, I find that fit to be familiar and actually quite comfortable. They are light weight relative to the material - not as thin/lightweight as nylon pants - but still very good for travel. I am really pleased I took the chance and tried them myself instead of going by that review. They will be perfect for a safari!
For reference I got a size small, I am 5’6 125 pounds with 26 inch waist. I finally found pants that are: 1. Long enough to protect my ankles (I’m 5’6 and these 32 inch inseam are perfect) 2. Super comfortable and efficient elastic waistband while baggy on the rest of the leg but slim enough to look cute 3. Pockets 4. Bug protection as well?? 5. I got the beige color and they are not see through Literally don’t know why these pants have bad reviews at all. I tried soooo many pants and they were all too short or fit weird on me. These pants are a godsend I will be fighting off mosquitoes on my trip to Southeast Asia
I am 5'1 and I had to roll up the pant legs and waistband. They also stuck to my body when I got sweaty hiking. They did quickly dry after being soaked by vernal falls. They also protected my legs from my mosquito bites.
These are perfect for me! I am a little bit of a seamstress, so the reviews didn’t scare me off too badly. I bought the walnut brown and the steel blue in medium. which are gorgeous and the material is so nice and thin and perfect for very humid and hot days in the southeast USA. The only alteration they will need for me is to hem them up about 2-2.5 inches. something I am used too doing with pants. The elastic waistband fit me right at my natural waist. And the flowing slightly flared legs are so n
I will be returning these. The color is more yellowish in person, but definitely not a flattering off-white/yellow. The color is bad, but the main reason I plan on returning these pants is the poof of fabric that acts like a parachute around my stomach. I can push it down and like a bouncy house around my gut it fills back with air. Soooo unflattering. I tried them on for my bf and the look on his face said it all--his face showed what I was thinking! How could a pair of pants fit so terribly and be so ugly?! The waist fit fine, yay...the length was good, nice and long. But the "pleats" around the waist didn't do much for these pants. They could save some fabric from the front of the pants, put it in the back, and maybe then these pants would okay to wear.
The material is high quality and I like everything about the pants except the fit. I am 5'4" and ordered a S. The pants are long in the legs and crotch. I can deal with long legs, but it would require a lot of work to adjust the fit in the the crotch properly. The long crotch is bothersome.
Comments are corrected that the front part of the crotch is a little long but it can easily just be folded. In general, great material, comfy, true to size. Really good for long legs
The front is weird. It looks like you're wearing a diaper because of how it puffs out in the front. Everything else about them is great but when you bend over and stand back up, it'll look like you have fupa.
Baggy in the leg, snugger in the hip Wrinkles easily. Lighter weight material for warmer days, which is what I wanted.
