They Missed with These
I'm a runner/hiker/backpacker. I reliably wear a 6 in hiking pants. I've gone up to a 10 trying to get these pants to fit, and they just don't. I have poofieness around the waste and pockets, but they are tight on the quads and even around my calves (???). They have exactly zero stretch. While I can stand straight up perfectly comfortably in them, the moment I try to climb up, squat down, do anything, they're tight. I wanted these for hiking in the tick infested backcountry of the south, but have caved to just applying permethrin to other hiking pants.
Perfect fit
Fit perfectly! Right when I put these on, I was blown away. Not to tight or loose. Just right. I had just tried on 2 other trail pants and these fit the best. I am between sizes 4 and 6 and the 6 fit perfectly. Haven’t used on the trails yet. 5’8 150lbs for reference
ExOfficio, almost perfect, but not quite right.
Almost, but not quite a perfect fit. The color is ideal, a slate blue that co ordinates well with everything. The waist line fit perfectly, the legs were the correct width from hip to ankle and the length perfect! What happened? The rise, was short. The distance from the waist band to the crotch seam pulled from front to back and was just a little to tight to be comfortable. I'll be returning. The overall fit was perfect, so I doubt sizing up would solve the problem with the rise without expanding the other components of the fit.
field test pending
Fit is fine. Very thin, so I hope the Insect Shield works on my trip to Tanzania, especially at the popliteal space where the mesh is. It looks like a mosquito open buffet. Have not field tested yet.
