Does not hold up
I loved these boots. They were very comfortable, waterproof, and nice enough looking to wear them out. Sadly they started falling apart is less than 5 months. The pull tabs at the back on both broke and the soles split from the upper along the seam so they were no longer waterproof. I am returning them and will try to find something similar that can at least last a year.
Perfect travel boots!
I love these boots so much that I bought a second pair for when these wear out. I wore them all over Europe as they are perfect for EVERYTHING. Easy to slip on and off. Comfortable in the rain or on a sunny day, and they go with jeans or nice slacks.
Not what I was wanting
This boot is good looking. However, it did not meet my needs. I wanted a sturdy boot that I could wear in mud and melt season. My husband has worn the same pair of bogs for five seasons and they are amazing for their sturdiness, traction and warmth. He wears them all the time and the sole has barely worn at all. I returned the sweetpea boot and ordered myself the men's Tillamok boot in a men's size 7. I wear women's 9. The Tillamook Bay is exactly what I wanted. It's comfortable, sturdy and fits great. I suggest Bogs make this kind of sturdy boot for women. And, by the way, my fashion conscious friend told me she loves the way they look!
Walked All Over Europe
I bought these boots because I needed some cuter rain boots in Ireland/England and these fit all of my requirements. I wore these boots almost every day of the two weeks I was in Europe and they held up so well! They kept my feet dry and were so comfortable, I didn't mind wearing them all the time. I had a severe ankle injury last year (involved surgery) and these made me feel so stable, even on all of those lovely cobblestone streets, and my ankle didn't bother me. I will recommend wearing them before taking them on a big trip; they do some rubbing around the ankles where I wasn't used to having shoes that height. I would highly recommend these boots!!
Wide sizing just makes the heel too huge
I really wanted to love these boots...but I'm returning them. I have a wide toe box so I bought my regular size in wide. The toe box seems like a regular shoe width but the heel is super wide. So as I walk around the shoe just slips up off my heel. After standing around in them for a while my mid foot started to ache, so not even the "extra" width seems to work for me.
I Really, really wanted these bogs
I wanted so much to love my BOGS! The reviews were great and I couldn't wait to clomp around in these pretty red boots. I knew they would protect me when working in the garden and flash through snow in contrast to common browns and blacks. They would brighten my spirits on rainy days. I tried them on several times at different times of day with a variety of socks. I just could not make them work for me consistently. I have sensitive feet that have known surgery. Several times they felt reasonably good, but more often the left ball and instep pinched. I have learned not to disregard this warning. Back they went.
These were a replacement for my second pair
I ordered these booties to replace my first pair I literally wore out. I love these as I have plantar faciatis and Mortons neuroma and I can put my insoles in these and they also provide enough support while I'm working and I can also wear an ankle brace if necessary. The second pair I ordered split the top of shoe from sole and water immediately leaked in. I contacted boggs customer support and they immediately replaced the booties. I cannot be happier. I will patronize this company not only for their product but their customer support and care. My next knee high boot replacement will be bogs!

I wanted a short boot as the tall ones tend to be too hot for me. The Sweetpea boot was exactly what I wanted it to be. They are comfortable, lightweight, and have the added bonus of being very cute. a worry I had was that because they are short they would rub on my bare ankles but not a problem at all. The inside lining is soft and not irritating. Honestly I'll probably be buying another pair in a different color bc I love them so much! Highly recommend!

Stylish & No Painful Rubbing!
No rubbing on the back of my ankles/calves-I'm thrilled with my purchase! I've wanted a pair of short rain boots for awhile, since full length ones can be kind of heavy for long walks. But every pair I've tried has rubbed on the back of my ankles/lower calves awfully, even with socks as a barrier, and left me with some scars on the back of my legs & absolutely terrified of a repeat experience. Bought these because the wide opening looked like it wouldn't rub & after a few weeks of wearing them, I haven't had any rubbing on the back of my legs. Love these for walking my dog in the springtime mud/rain. Love the design as well - they feel very modern! Pretty easy to slip on as well - which is a big plus.
