higher quality, dense weave, big-head friendly
Great sun coverage and very well constructed. Most lifeguard hats I’ve had have a looser weave and rely on under-brim fabric to achieve UPF. Not this hat - dense weave and higher quality material is worth the added cost, and I’m willing to sacrifice a little breathability from loose weaving for better sun protection. Comes only as “One Size,” but is probably better for larger heads - at 60cm, this hat feels like a perfect fit and could go slightly up or down. If you have a particularly smaller head circumference, you may be disappointed.
