Nice Biking Jacket

I really like this jacket. I'm a road biker, not a mountain biker, but it works fairly well. I like the warmth of the fabric, and the stretchiness. The zipper is generous for cooling down. I didn't give it 5 stars because I wish it had a pocket on the right side instead of the left for right-handed people, I wish there were more than 1 pocket, and the fit is slightly snug under the arms--I went up a size from my normal size and it's still not as roomy as I'd ideally want. Also armpit zippers would be a nice addition for cooling, but not a must.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE for biking and beyond!

Can't say enough about this piece, the fit is ideal for mountain biking (spring skiing, bike commuting, running errands, traveling, etc, etc). Some pullovers can feel constricting or tight, this is the perfect fit for biking, stretchy, and roomy enough to layer underneath. The length is ideal in the torso and the arms (I'm 5'6" and ordered the small). There is a slight fleece backing, which has me grabbing this pullover for spring ski days. On top of all of that, this hoodie is durable and weather resistant, so far have worn in a light sprinkle and the hoodie nicely shed the rain drops. So stoked on this technical pullover and cannot wait to wear for all my spring adventures! I purchased the caramel color, perfect for being seen when out on the road or trail.

Love the fit and the stretch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Outdoor Research gave me this free product to try. This half zip hoodie has been great for winter rides. It's warm enough to ride in down to mid 30s temps. It fits true to size and isn't too tight on my wide shoulders especially since it's a women's cut. I'm 5'4" 135lb and the small fits well. I love that the back is long enough to cover my lower back when bent over on a bike, and that the fabric has some stretch to it.

This is a great warm layer for those cooler spring/end of fall day. It's warm enough to wear a short sleeve underneath. Also fashionable/comfortable enough to wear to the post ride beer!

Great gear for a cool weather ride! Like all the Freewheel products I’ve tried, the fit is great and the technical design works as intended.

I think I would prefer a full zip.

The shoulders were a little tight, but it fit great through the waist and hip. Love the color and material.

Outdoor Research Never Fails!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you Expertvoice and Outdoor Research for giving me this free product to test and review!!! I have been testing products for several years and enjoy giving factual reviews. I love this hoodie!!! First off, it's comfortable and warm while riding on cool to cold days. The fabric feels nice against the skin without any irritation. The color Caramel is nice and flattering. I live in a windy area, and it did really well. Breathable but protected me from the cold air. I love the fact it is weather resistant because the weather changes so quick in the Sierra. It also held up in light rain. I took notice that it's light weight but heavy duty to the elements. I have been using the Freewheel hoodie for a month now and I have taken it all over the MTB trails and hiking trails. I have had no issues whatsoever. I love the spacious side pocket, it fits my phone, handkerchief, bar and lip balm with ease. I did size up for layering purposes, but it fits perfectly and looks really good. How good does it look; I wore it going out to dinner. It's a multi-purpose hoodie. I think Outdoor Research has quality products, this hoodie doesn't disappoint and is has the quality I expect from OR.
