Great LS jersey

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The OR Freewheel LS jersey works great. The fit for me was spot on; the only thing I'd change is a slightly longer drop tail (I am 6'2"). The fabric and construction was what you'd expect from a company that makes high-end outdoor apparel - breathable, soft, wicking. The sleeve length and fit was so much better than what I am used to - no naked wrists! I really appreciated the little touches - the microfiber wipe on the hem was great for wiping brow sweat off my glasses mid-ride. Overall, I dig this jersey and look forward to seeing what else OR brings to market for the MTB crowd! (Outdoor Research gave me this free product to try.)

Favorite MTB Shirt To Date...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] OR is known for making extremely high quality clothing, and this shirt is no exception. I spent a day of enduro riding in this shirt the first time I wore it, and usually long rides like that aren't how I like to test new gear in case it's not comfortable. Well to say I was impressed would be an understatement. This shirt is soft and breathable, yet feels heavy enough to offer some protection if I were to hit the deck. I wore the long sleeves on a 80 degree day, and didn't regret it for a second! There were 0 annoying seams, which can be hard to find in jerseys, so that's another huge perk! Highly recommend this jersey for new and old riders alike. Thanks for sending this my way to review OR!

Favourite MTB jersey yet!

I've tried quite a few MTB jerseys over the years, and this one is by far the best. It's lightweight and breathable, seemingly durable (haven't crashed yet, so I can't say for sure), and the UPF sun protection makes a black jersey feel cool even in direct sunlight. The sleeves are sufficiently long (I'm 6'2" and wear a size small, so this is often an issue), and I like that the cuffs aren't fitted. Having the integrated lens cloth in the front of the jersey makes it easier to use, but could stand to be a little larger.

Excellent Jersey

Fits true to size, I'm 6'2" 185, size large fits perfect. The material is comfortable, breathes well, and is durable so far. I used to be a short sleeve purist on my rides, but this material is breathable enough that I don't get hot wearing it on sunny days. Plus the long sleeves protect my arms from the sun and branches along narrow trails. The only disadvantage is it "holds the stink" but that is typical for synthetic materials.

Tech for fall

It’s like a typical smartwool garment made of merino wool. This one has different fabrics back and front to break the wind and provide cooling.

Early Season Necessity.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As you can see in the photo, this has become my favorite trainer jersey as I blew up a ligament in my hand skiing in January. I'm not clear to hold a handlebar yet so it's trainer seasons only for me while my right hand heals. Outdoor Research gave me this free product to try, and I've been enjoying using it on the trainer this February and March. It moves moisture well, but it's slightly thicker than some of my other cooler weather jersey's which makes me grab for it often for garage trainer rides because I stay a little warmer in the garage, especially in the morning when it's extra chilly. I find this jersey to have a roomier fit than other outdoor research products that I own. Typically I have to size up for all things OR, but this one I probably could have stayed with a size medium, but the large is still comfortable and doesn't feel overly baggy. I really dig the color as well. It's a great deep green. Can't wait to use this outside on the trail when the surgeon gives the OK!

Quality jersey

This jersey fits really well and is breathable enough for days up to around 75° with some sun. The material is strong enough to withstand some rock/tree abrasions. The fit feels great and is tight enough to not have a ton of flapping, but not so tight that I feel like I can’t move.

Great long-sleeved MTB shirt

Great shirt for riding in cooler weather. I used these recently on a cold weather ride and it worked great given the conditions. Kept me warm enough while being comfortable for the ride. Would recommend this to other riders - beginner or advanced.

Fit is great, fabric quality is also very nice and light feeling. Very high quality riding shirt. Haven't had a chance to test the longevity/durability yet. Wrong season here to test it out on its own (we are in winter).
